We only wanted a small reasonably-priced hotel for a single night and this one was fine for our purposes. Unusual for a French hotel having a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Appreciated.

The fact that it was in a quiet location. The private parking. The facilities in the room. The fact that one had to go into Cherbourg to get an evening meal. With current roadworks this was quite a long way.

It was close to the port for use of the cross channel ferry to Portsmouth. Local restraunts available. It is showing showing signs of requiring updating and in need of refurbishment

Pour cette soirée du 24/12, pas de personnel de prévu mais panne électrique sur le circuit hormis éclairage de la chambre. Pas d'éclairage dans les communs, pas d'eau chaude le matin et pas de chauffage, pas non plus de tv. Malgré un numéro d'urgence affiché aucun responsable n'a pu être joint.

L'accueil avec l'hôtesse était très agréable, les petites attentions dans la chambre aussi (thé, café, bouilloire, ...) manque toutefois d'un cendrier pour une chambre occupée par un fumeur.
