Score from 204 reviews Good
Good location, friendly staff, nice and cosy room :)))
it s abit hard to park close to the hotel
Loved the location. We walked down to the Christmas market (10 minute walk). Also liked that they provide each room with an electric kettle and tea/coffee. Around the corner at the busy intersection is a nice bakery where you can get something to eat. The bathrooms are nice. The whole place looks like it was renovated a couple of years ago and with good taste too.
Parking was free but they only have a limited amount of cars they can accommodate.
Comfortable, clean rooms, 10 min walk to centre of town. Kettle with coffee/tea and biscuits and bottled water was very welcoming. Parking on site complimentary. Not sure, but I think there is a complimentary bus into town which stops outside the hotel.
Traffic noise can be heard in rooms. Towels were very small ( feel sorry for those of us who are on the larger side!) Nothing much in the way of restaurants/shops close to the hotel, need to go into town.
Frienly staff, just 15 minutes from center, free privat parking.
Excellent quality for €45/2pers.night 5 mins from center, clean, all working
A bit crammed but functional
relatively small hotel
connecting room noisy
The bathroom is clean and bright. The bed is very comfortable.
proximity to town centre and restaurants
position of hotel, between two busy roads. It was fine with the windows closed but would be very noisy with them open
Very clean, well-furbished hotel with a very reasonable price. When compared with the hotel room standards in France, I can say it has a very spacious room. Water boiler, tea, coffee and a bottle of water is courtesy of the hotel available in your room. Suitable for short and also longer stays. Helpful staff. It is located at a walking distance to the historical city centre. Sufficient number of parking lots available. Good value for money.
If you return after 23.00, you need to enter the password on your hotel room key and use the other entrance door to the right of the main entrance door of the hotel, but this is not a big problem. Just be careful if you will check in after 23.00.
good location nice personal
breakfast to expensive, small parking
About 10 min walk to old town. Parking available. Hot water kettle, tea and instant coffee provided.
No AC, had to open windows on fairly busy street. Awkward room layout.
location a few minutes walk from town centre, free parking. reasonable breakfast. clean room. nice quality bedding. good price.
Location for access to Old Town
Noisy traffic. No airconditioning. No extra pillows. Food [ham] at breakfast was off.
Location, value for money, WiFi, shower, breakfast.
Good location - walking distance from Colmar. Breakfast ok but poorly staffed. Only one person trying to do everything. Food ran out. Fresh fruit would be nice.
Hotel was really dark. Bedrooms in need of refurbishment - dingy decor
Everything was great!
Great value for money. Rooms good for the money. Receptionist took time to chat and provide great advise as to restaurants
Parking looks exposed
The rooms are very clean It's near to the city center The staff also very friendly and it have very good price
good facilities in room, clean, modern styling. cheap price so good value for money.
lack of parking was an issue and parking that was available is cramped if you have a larger vehicle such as a van.
The one staff member (who was at the front desk both mornings and at night) was very nice and helpful.
The hotel was not far from the city center but you had to walk through the Colmar "ghetto" to get there. It was extremely loud being located on a major intersection and very hot (no air conditioning). The electrical outlets didn't work the morning we wanted to leave, and the hotel is in an overall run-down condition. Find a better hotel in the city center and don't stay here! Over-priced to boot!
Room was functional, good location, has parking. Had clean teapot with tea and instant coffee, and they gave you a packaged cookie. Easy to come and go at any time of night or day. Wifi was OK.
Room (#1) reeked of mildew. When we complained, the response was just basically "take it or leave it", and the only remediation provided was to spray a few squirts of some strong smelling cleaner over the drains to temporarily mask the odor. They provided really cheap soap and tiny bath towels (no wash clothes) and everything about the hotel was cheap. Rooms are very small. The only ventilation for the room was a single window at ground level that opens to the busy road. So, fresh air consists of the smell of automobile exhaust. And it would be a security risk to leave your window open. Hot water is about 85 degrees, so it will instantly burn if you're not careful. Shower head is mounted less than a meter high, so showers are difficult.
It was clean
The rooms were extremely small and you felt like going into a dark cellar - no light from windows. A/C was not working proberly. Only outdoor place was the parking space. The water kettle was not working. Some electrical contacts were not working
10-15 min -walking -to the Old Town, easy to find the way to Hotel
