Kyriad Lyon - Perrache - Confluence  

It was nicely designed. Good rooms. Clean, and friendly and very efficient. Very nice guests one of whom found our wallet in the car park and informed reception who contacted us minutes after our departure enabling us to retrieve it.. Many thanks to all concerned - we are really grateful and hope the other guest is reading this - Happy New Year! Bonne Annee.!

The hotel room (a superior room) was large and very clean. It was good to have a kettle in the room for late-night cups of tea/coffee. The bed was unusually large, particularly for France, where most hotels provide a double rather than a queen or king size. The bed in the superior room at the Kyriad was king size and was very comfortable. The furnishings were modern and business-like, so lacking in charm but completely functional. The hotel is near the autoroute, but the rooms are soundproofed and the windows are double-glazed. The restaurant was very good. Business-like but with an excellent menu and very friendly and fast staff. The three course menu was of very good quality and excellent value for money. The location is in an area that is being renovated from an industrial area to an area of new apartments, an aquatic centre etc. Where the Kyriad is still needs some work but it will all improve within the next year. A new tram line will connect with Stade de Gerland on the other side of the river and hence make journeys in that direction much quicker.

Close to Lyon Perrache train station, very good two star hotel could easily be three star!

perfectly situated on the quai so easy to find and use as a day base for local activity

room is not equipped with a mini bar or safe deposit box

Very clean, close to the center, open 24 hours a day

Very noisy aircondition and if you opened the window there was a lot of noise from traffic - so a loose-loose situation!

The hotel is clean. Rooms on the back of the street are quite. Is in a older building that has big windows. Free wirless access. Parking avaliable for a fee of 18 Euro per car including tax. For the rate we pay, it is a good experience. From the back of the hotel you can see part of old Lyon which is pretty cool.

The location seems to be not too far from where we spotted prostitutes. We droved by, so it was not a big concern. But walking could be scary. The room is tiny which did not bother us, but could be troublesome for others.

Small rooms but perfectly adequate for a short stay - have tea/coffee facilities which is a bonus. Perhaps a little far from the rail station of "part dieu" but close to the other station. Need to know the city prior to arrival. Close to the old town and shopping area.
