reception staff were friendly
at breakfast as being an English traveller unable to speak French, the member of staff in the breakfast hall kept speaking French about something regarding my bag, but wouldn't/couldn't speak English so I didn't understand. if there was an issue all she had to do was get someone from the reception to tell me what the issue was.
facilities, room size, comfort
Tv was not working in my room
Reasonable rates and location (walking distance from railway station, local bus stop, park)
Breakfast (served identical menu all the week)
Everything was excellent.
We liked the welcoming staff (nice, young, smily girl) and the room was fairly comfortable.
there were customers complaining atbthe desk when we arrived (about prices). Actually, there must be a problem with the bills because in the morning, when we went to the restaurant to have our breakfast, the clerc didn't know we had already paid for it. There must be a communication issue.
Location, breakfast buffet, spacious rooms, helpfullness staff, good WiFi.
faint small of cigarette smoke in corridors (minor)
The room and bed size, cleaness, free WiFi service, pretty good breakfast buffet. The staff at the hotel has been pretty friendly. The check-in and -out process has been very simple and fast. There are shops nearby that is pretty convenient. All in all, this is a very good hotel with reasonable price.
The WiFi access always kick the user out once the mobile phone, e.g., is not in use for a few minutes. One needs to re-log into the network remembering the username and password that is pretty uncomfortable. Suggesting to let it stay in logged in status during the assigned time period. The pillow in the bed was somehow too small.
breakfast had no hot options
Station Opera is nearest (I arrived at Massy paleasau at night so I took pains) we can use wifi and a room has bothtub. There are many people who speak Spanish.
Meals are not good, there is no restaurant around the hotel in evening.
Big minus: Location. Taxi service booked by hotel: not reliable. Old building.
Waiting staff bad attitude, unhelpful & rude desk staff upon arrival, poor breakfast choice, bathroom state of disrepair, smell of cigarettes throughout this no-smoking hotel.
Leaving this place
Diabolical. We arrived there during a strike (train AND taxi) - it took us over 7 hours to get to our hotel AFTER arriving in Porte Maillot. Hotel were unapologetic, didn't even give us a glass of water. We left a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door, cleaning staff still came in early. This place was so far away from Paris (given the strike in place) it's a really dodgy area too - good luck to you if you stay here! Expensive s&&t...
Good location near Autoroute for access out of the city and RER station close by for access into the centre of Paris. Beds were comfortable and room/bathroom were of the standard expected for the price. Breakfast was simple but fair for the price.
Air conditioning not working at all and with 28C outside and the sun beating through the window, the temperature in the bedroom was unbearable. WiFi constantly disconnecting and needed to login over and over again. The lady supervising breakfast on our first morning was polite and charming to us but she made it pretty clear, both by what she said and her general attitude, that Chinese people are really not welcome. Apparently they cause her no end of distress because they "pretend not to understand English" and make too much mess. She treated the small group of Chinese clients that we saw no better than something she would have scraped off her shoe. Housekeeping staff have pretty much zero respect for your peace and quiet. Despite the "please do not disturb" sign on the door when trying to take a siesta they simply ignore it and bang on the door until they get a response. Then 15 minutes later, standing outside our room and shouting down the corridor to a colleague, making enough noise to wake the dead. Pretty much overall the sole aim of the staff (with a couple of exceptions) is to do as little as possible and have no respect for the customers that make it possible for them to work. And heaven help you if you happen to be from China....
very slow wifi, simple breakfast, not very good neighbourhood especially during the night.
Staff and service. I stayed over the weekend, but the next room had a wedding party. The noise carried on all night long, making it impossible for me to get any sleep. I explained the situation to the reception, however, the staff refused to provide any support and asked me to put up with the situation. I believe that they could have informed me that the next room would have a wedding party, or at least arranged the room not right next to it. I was deeply disappointed by the staff and service quality in this hotel, and I would certainly not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.
Very clean and functional efficient staff.
Located in a poor neighbourhood, did not feel safe after dark in this area. Moved to another location after two nights.
Only the shower is good.
No instructions in the bedroom. Did not get complimentary tea, milk and water daily. Second day we arrived very late at night and we requested a bottle of water as they did not leave any. I was hoping this was complimentary and the receptionist was on his own and he asked us to collect the bottle from reception. On check out they told us to pay for the water. It cost 8.50 euros for 2 bottles of water. My cousin was trying to get hold of me while we were staying at the hotel and left several messages which we never received. We checked with the reception why did we not get those messages and the receptionist said they don't take messages. It was an emergency and I was very dissatisfied with the service.
The shower in the bath, both the position and the fact that the water was slow-draining. Internet quite slow.
The bed though small (twin) was comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. Of good quality as well.
The location of the hotel was in a rather seedy area. The room had mold on the wall and blood stains on the shower curtain rod. The carpet in the room was dirty I wouldn't even take of my shoes.
The room was good, clean and the bed very confortable.
the Place de Frnace is not a beautifull place to go with the family. and The wifi is very very slow
1) Room too small 2) Bed too small 3) Bathroom fittings broken 4) Breakfast stale 5) Staff amateurish 6) Location miserable
location next to the shopping centre about 15min walk from the railway station. Easy to get there (signposts on the roads)
poor quality of the wi-fi network
