In the historic center of Orange, this 18th-century residence offers 2 heated swimming pools, an aromatherapy spa center and a fitness center. There is also a restaurant serving homemade cuisine.
Score from 561 reviews Very good
Located behind the Théâtre Antique and looking onto the Place aux Herbes, the Herbier d'Orange is a small charming hotel right in the center of town.
Score from 140 reviews Excellent
Surrounded by the vineyards which produce Côtes du Rhône, the Roman town of Orange is a wonderful stopover between Paris and the French Riviera.
Score from 174 reviews Good
This peaceful Campanile Hotel is 550 yards from the center of Orange and near the major roads to Spain and Italy.
Score from 302 reviews Good
Well appointed rooms. No fuss.
Clean, friendly staff, free and safe parking on walking distance, close to restaurants and city centre. Nice town to stroll around in the evening and to recover from a long trip.
Restaurant of hotel closes around 19.00 hours, but there are many more restaurants in city centre.
internet is fast, all the things are good!
a little far from train station
The staff are excellent and dealt with a request for an extra night in a wheelchair accessible room with great skill. The restaurant is useful and Kyriad have made this a comfortable and useful option for the opera festival.
Like everything in Orange at festival time, it's not great value for money.
Location is great, near the arc de triomph, walking distance from the theatre.
Breakfast was really poor value for money ( and they'll charge the same for children over 10 months as for adults which is a bit of a rip off). Everything is a bit shabby ( cigarette burns in cushion covers, stains on carpets...)
The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are very good. Too expensive, but I suppose it is Provance...
Well situated, central, a short pleasant walk to the Theatre Antique. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was excellent and great value for money.
A poor breakfast, little choice and not at all appetising. At 9.50 euros each it was very disappointing.
Free wi-fi Close to the city-center Parking on site, at a small cost
At the time of our arrival, the man at reception told us that he couldn't find our reservation, even though I got a mail from Booking, confirming my reservation. There were still4 rooms availible for the night, so we got a room, but the fact that our reservation didn't get through the system was a bit annoying.
- basic hotel, but meeting the expectations - the best breakfast ever eaten in a French hotel, despite the fact that the choice was limited - private parking
- some of the facilities a bit outdated
Cost/ Benefit ratio. Breakfast
Limited parking facilities
rooms are ridiculously small and not suitable for (young) children. Next to this parking; space is very limiten and when full there is even no area to unload luggage.
The shower was good - but no shower caps supplied. The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice, except for the size of it. Wifi was good. But you need to keep the slip of paper with your logging on details as it keeps dropping. The waiter & waitress in the dining room were very helpful and he spoke a little English.
The hotel rooms does not have a safe deposit box, also they are not available at reception. We had booked in for 5 nights and our room was only serviced twice. When we asked for towels, coffee etc it was always a hassle. So much so that you would avoid if possible going to the desk. Our room was small even after requesting & being guaranteed "We confirm a large and good room for you, on 2 to 7 july 2014 Have a nice day, Best regards, Coline". There was very little room to pass at the end of the bed. These were the only polite words we had from Coline. Coline & the man in reception spoke no English, and made to effort to help or understand us.
Location Secure (but small) parking on-site Friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast below average
shower too small
parking perhaps too small.
Friendly Staff Efficient Checkout Well priced menu
Location. Rooms are small but functional and new. Parking is on the street, two blocks away, had no problems for 4 nights. Quite hotel, windows are sound prove.
Lobby smells funny, mix of cleanning agents and smoke.
Everythibg is perfect there. The manager si very helpful.
very small room
Good location and very comfortable bed
Man on front desk was not very welcoming
As a mature couple we asked for a Double bed on the ground or first floor. We ended up on the third floor however we did get a double bed.
Lack of parking, would not go here again as a result of this.
The location is very good for a tourist. You can make coffee or tea in your room. The beds were comfortable. The dinner was good and beautifully presented They had a large group of teenagers who arrived just before dinner. There were over 40 kids and they did a great job serving their dinner
Their parking lot is very small and it there is an empty space it is hard to get in and out of the parking lot. The bathroom was poorly designed. It is very small. I don't think I have ever seen such a small sink. Also the shower doesn't have a door and it is very hard to avoid getting the whole bathroom wet. When checking out we were charged 20 Euros more than the rate quoted. Luckily I was able to show him the Booking.com email conformation with the correct amount. He blamed the mistake saying their computer system was down.
Is located in the center very close to the Roman theatre and the triumph arch. Clean and nicely decorated.
Parking is very small. We had to go to a different location and leave the car there. Staff like in all the hotels in france don't speak English.
