Kyriad Bergerac  

Not a lot. Will never stay there again.

We were put into room 3 next to the conference centre which was very noisy,we complained and were told it would end in 30 minutes in fact it went on until 9-15 pm we were not offered another room,not good after driving nearly 700 kms.Why when the hotel was half empty were we put into room 3 next to the conference centre??The heating did not work properly and it was a very cold night,outside light shone through the curtains it was like sleeping in broad daylight,all in all not a good experience.

First room allocated to us hadn't been prepared. No safe in room

Not too much although the cleanliness of the rooms was ok The promotional pictures...obviously taken about 10 years ago...not much like the reality!

It was in desperate need of refurbishment. The smell of the corridors and damp in the room. The stained and dirty hall carpets. The tired state of the hotel put us off eating there so we cannot comment on the quality of the food or restaurent service

Pleasant hotel with a pool and a good restaurant.

The breakfast was expensive but we had no alternative as we were due to fly out of Bergerac that morning and there were no/limited facilities at the airport.

The staff were all very helpflull

the bathroom it was clean but for the mold around the shower.

The food was very good. The staff were relaxed and friendly.

Difficult to find - the location foxed my sat nav. Suspect "aroma" in the bedroom.

The location and staff made my stay most welcome

Pool location

We were given wrong room initially, (stunk of smoke) male receptionist was very good, gave us a choice, sorted quickly. Room was clean and comfortable.

Unable to connect to wifi, again staff were very helpful, but to no avail.

really comfortable beds and the tea/coffee making facilities, being on the ground floor with outside access ideal with two small dogs.

our room had an adjoining door and the people on the other side were up till 2am chatting which kept us awake.

Staff kindness and attention. They accept pets.

Very budget type set up. No fridge in room. Swimming pool chairs were uncleaned and dirty. Swimming pool was unheated.

It had a swimming pool...that we didn't have time to use...

The room was tiny...with the baby's cot in there you could barely move...even if it had not been there the room was small. Location was on an out of town retail/industrial estate so not exactly wonderful... Not a particularly fantastic hotel overall. Staff were ok and breakfast was ok but would not stay at a Kyriac hotel again.

A clean comfortable hotel on outskirts of Bergerac.

Noise from nearby nightcub/disco. Expensive breakfast.

Nothing to dislike, the whole of the stay was good

We chose Kyriad because the rooms have air conditioning--unfortunately, it did not work because the system failed and the nightwatchman had no training and/or tools to do anything about it. (The hotel compensated us by not charging for the very good breakfast we enjoyed the next morning.) Bergerac does not seem to be blessed with great hotels, so Kyriad may be the best you will do although it is certainly aging. At the same time, the town of Eymet, just south, has only b&bs--which seem to be well-operated--but they have no air conditioning! (People living in the area seem acclimatized to no a/C.) The swimming pool was a welcome venue for a drink late in the afternoon.

The air conditioning that failed to work--probably/possibly because someone did not turn on the master switch somewhere in the building!

Clean, friendly good basic facilities, didnt eat there as we went into town but the food did look OK.

To far from the main town to walk in.

I stayed at the Kyriad 2 years ago and was very impressed and on my return we all believed the standards were even higher.The staff were most helpful and the food was of a high standard

Budget accommodation. Quite comfortable

Noisy due to the proximity of a night club. Music could be heard till 4 am in the background
