The insulation against noise in the midnight is not so well when many guests are chatting in the lounge...
Staff were extremely helpful, location was very good although parking is not possible beside the hotel. Room very fresh, bathroom small but excellently equipped.
Room a little tight as the bed was against the wall
Great location just off the old town city square, many good restaurants nearby. Helpful & friendly reception, very clean, nicely renovated, desk, door code for 24-hour access.
We enjoyed the hotel very much. Good location in Old Town, not far from the center. Hicham was very helpful with getting our taxi and making sure we knew where to meet our tour guide. Made recommendations for dinner and was quite helpful.
Nice staff. He carried my bag up 3 flights of stairs. Attractive room. Nice bathroom. Location in the middle of the restaurant district. A good stay
The location, the room and the facility. Good breakfast.
The location & owner knowledge of the area was great
The room was small / compact, so not a lot of room if you have 2x suitcases however the hotel was in great condition.
Great stay. Staff were fantastic. Comfortable and clean. Lots of restaurants just out the door.
Very nice, clean place to stay. Rooms are small, but all you really need. Good working WiFi.
The breakfast was very good, though a bit overpriced I felt. I think it was about 9 euros a person, for a continental breakfast. Many places don't charge at all for this, so was a bit surprised for the charges when we checked out.
Great location right at Plumeria Place. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. Loved walking around the town of Tours.
While I liked being so close to plumeria place, it is noisy until about 2:00. Made it difficult to sleep.
Good location close to town centre, shops and restaurants. Tastefully furnished rooms Excellent breakfast Friendly staff
Property located in pedestrianised street so no vehicle access or parking. On street parking nearby, off street parking about 5 min walk.
The location and stuff are friendly, fast internet
Smelly, small room ans small TV
The owners were great and provided recommendations helpfully. Beautiful old building with exposed beams in our room. The location was excellent but very popular so a bit loud at night. The windows close out all of the sound though and we had a fan and AC so it wasn't a bother. We will definitely recommend and return!
Clean, quiet room. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location, right in the middle of the old town, 20 min walk from the train station. Nice feel to the hotel
Proximity to city centre, good value for money, clean tidy. Right in Restaurant district with lots going on. Very helpful staff, Ideal hotel if looking for clean basic accommodation.
Parking in street somewhat difficult. Basic 2 star hotel so hotel has small bedrooms. Could do with some updating.
This is a great location to get to know Tours. The gentman helping us was wonderful. I am sorry that I don't recall his name. His wife is gracious and they made us feel at home. They were ready to help us with any need we had from directions to solving power plug issues ;). They made the stay lovely. We stayed over a friday night and did wake up to men singing in the streets! Quite nice - but good to know you are near some fun venues. It is central to many historic areas. Difficult parking off street -- it is important to know. It is clearly on the website. They made parking recommendations but be prepared to walk with your bags. Our car was towed bcs we parked in a lot that wasnt really a lot! We didnt see the sign so it was totally our fault. But make sure you are aware that you have some parking challenges. Breakfast was lovely and prices appropriately. Overall we were very satisfied and would return in a heartbeat!
Nothing--it was great!
The hotel was ideally situated in the old part of the city right next to many, many cafe's & restaurants and every one was a gem. The hotel met all our needs to a very high standard and the manager went out of his way to help especially when getting a taxi to make our train. He rang many times to ensure we made it. Much appreciated.
Nothing to dislike
The location in the heart of the old town was excellent.
The lighting in the room is poor. There is no overhead light. Bed lamps are much too dim.
-Staff were really friendly and helpful -Location, location, location! The hotel is very close to Place du Plumereau, which is a main spot to go for food and/or drinks.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location in the old town was superb, easy walking everywhere and a very picturesque street. The rooms were clean and cosy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Very helpful staff
Great location in the centre of the old town, close to local restaurants and amenities. Very helpful and pleasant owners. Beautiful hotel, well maintained, spotlessly clean room and bathroom.
no lift, but it would be impossible to put a lift in such a beautiful traditional building. Our room was at the top of the building so it kept us fit climbing the 3 flights of stairs!
Perfect location in the heart of the old town. Excellent, friendly staff, who offered good recommendations for restaurants. Beautiful decor and ambience. Wonderful breakfast.
We had booked two double superior rooms with balconies and instead we were given two standard rooms. When we queried this, the proprietor explained that the rooms with a balcony were too noisy, so they don't offer them at the weekend. Very thoughtful but this should have been explained during the booking procedure as we still paid the higher price. That said, the rooms were lovely and still good value.
