Everything. Staff very helpful, booked an excellent restaurant for us
Wifi was not working, probably a temporary problem
Location, style of hotel, the helpful and very friendly staff, the pool and the rooms
Wifi was a bit limited in certain areas of the hotel, need more hooks in the room and bathroom to hang things, more coat hangers would have been helpful too. The shower kept leaking due the half screen.
The staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were lovely especially pool view rooms. Really easy access to Pont du Gard and Uzés.
Street view rooms are quite noisy and entrance into car park is really awkward.
Very nice atmosphere, very good value for the price, the restaurant was top notch!
I loved the building, the pool and the grounds. Our room was clean and pleasant with a charming view and the staff were friendly, helpful and generally made our stay great. I intend coming back when I am next in France specifically because I liked the location and hotel.
There was nothing I didn't love - I just wished we had time to stay longer.
The service was excelent. Very welcoming. Excelent food. Clean, quiet, peaceful. Beautiful place to feel the real country side of France.
Only critique is poor wifi , but can live with that
Lovely welcome and great support by staff at all times.
We liked everything.
Bravo! An absolutely brilliant villa. This was hands down the best place I stayed during my week in Provence. The villa is exceptionally beautiful, rooms a modern and tastefully appointed, the pool is divine, the restaurant a true culinary experience, and the staff were all absolutely wonderful and helpful. I wish I would have stayed at this place the entire week. It is a great base for exploring Provence and the Pont Du Gard - which is a lovely 20 minute walk away down a charming country road. This place is a true paradise for relaxing and enjoying Provence. I would go back in a heart beat.
not a single complaint.
Staff great, helpful. Restaurant excellent. Morning walk to Pont du Gard beautiful. Ambience very good.
Could hear cars a little in the streetview room.
Very nice location Diner was great Staff very friendly!
Difficult to find the place! Even more difficult in the evening. Need more clear signs!
Great location. very comfortable bed and good bedding. nice bathroom: robes were an extra nice touch
tile floors made every move of the couple next door early in the morning sound like they were walking around in our room -- noisy
A lovely experience.
The building itself was lovely from the outside. The staff was very helpful.
I think the modern decor is too stark and doesn't fit with the architecture. It could use an injection of character and warmth. Some of the recent work on the floors and tiles seems a little haphazard and shoddy.
- very friendly staff! - location (20 min walking to Pont du Gard, avoiding the enormous parking fee) - nicely renovated, lovely country estate
This hotel certainly has a lot of potential, especially with this outstandingly friendly personnel. However, I would say it is not quite there yet. It seems to have been recently renovated and some details are still missing: no safety deposit box, no glasses to drink the drinks from the minibar, no information leaflet about the hotel containing e.g. breakfast and check-out times, or the current menu of the restaurant, no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, ... Another thing we were a bit worried about was the security. The cars are just parked in a field nearby, no fence/gate (yet?). Also be aware that there are lots of bugs: several spiderwebs and even bees in the room. This might also be one of the not quite finished things: in the entrance hall of the room there is an open space (covered with a metal grid with holes big enough to let insects come through) that leads directly up to the roof. Cold air could come in too, which made this hall quite freezing if you wanted to use the bathroom at night..
Small hotel. Countryside location. Swimming pool an excellent place to relax after a day's sightseeing. 10 mins drive from Uzes which is a delightful town. 20 mins walk from the Pont du Gard aqueduct. Staff very helpful.
No major complaints. Room small but plenty of space outside the hotel to relax. Tried their restaurant once but disappointed by price/quality. Uzes has plenty of better value restaurants.
Staff welcoming, and went out of their way to assist. Beautiful building and surroundings. evening meal very very good. Best meal we have had in a long time, and we eat out a lot. food expensive but you get what you pay for.
Wonderful old restored building The staff The location The food We found this place by accident, it was the best accident we ever had........
More shelving, storage in the rooms although they did say that the hotel was st ll in a work in progress
The lovely area & access to the Pont du Gard. The ancient poste relais provides a magnificent building for a hotel settting & has been very nicely refurbished with very friendly welcoming Staff..
The hotel needs to be better signed from the main road - V.easy to overshoot the correct turning for access. Breakfast is very nicely presented but at euros 15 ; not cheap & thus needs to be far more expansive for the price - choice is very basic at present ; greater variety of cereals, possibility of eggs being available; both needed and no baguette available - having lived in France this is a basic expectancy of the "French Connection".. Dinner (Nouvelle cuisine) was perfectly fine but my veal was all cartillage - I hope the Hotel went back to the butcher on this one.The cook took the brunt of my displeasure & apologised to me c/o one of the Staff plus the dining Room Manager offered me a free breakfast as recompense ; this was accepted but the hotel should not be put in this position in the first place. Secure Room Safes : my room did not have one - a hotel of this standing should provide them in all rooms. Glass panelled door to bathroom ; whilst probably done for more light a basic privacy is thus missing. Many are enlightened ; many are not so one should in my view err on the prudent side on this on so frosted glass would suffice. .
The staff is very helpfull and friendly. We got a room on the backside of the hotel, so we couldn't hear the noice from the road location: closeby motorway, Uzes, Pont du Gard, ... Good shower products, bathroom with enough space, seperate toilet, very good bed, free parking lot
The bad thing of having a room with view on the garden of the bar is noice during night from people having a drink outside; light on the parking lot would be nice when arriving in the dark, ...
Great location, very well situated for day trips by car to the many fabulous surrounding cities and sites. This hotel was recently opened. Our room was extremely comfortable, tastefully appointed and somewhat eclectic with a few quirks, as you may expect in a building that is hundreds of years old. The staff were charming and always helpful, concerned that they were providing us with everything we needed or expected and that we enjoying our stay. Excellent restaurant at the hotel and many other great places to eat very close, at least one within a five minute walk.
The hotel in its current form had only been open for a couple of weeks and it looked stunning. The staff were absolutely wonderful - attentive, charming, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was quiet, stylish, very comfortable, and we had a view across fields. The hotel is next to a busy road but the rooms are located away from the road so - once you are in - you are completely unaware of it. It is a pleasant 2km walk from the hotel to the Pont du Gard, and - if you have a car - the hotel is ideally located for trips in to Uzès. We ate from the Chef's menu and the food and service was perfect.
The swimming pool was drained for cleaning so we were without a pool for the majority of our stay. It was almost full again by the time we were leaving, so I doubt this will be a problem for anyone else. The extractor fans for the kitchen were quite loud at times during service on the terrace.
Bed and bedding good
Not finished off, under staffed food over priced breakfast chaotic and poor value, traffic noise, grass uncut around the pool which had paint flaking off it. bathroom fitments poor quality and not fixed properly. No tennis on site in spite of web site saying so
Excellent quality of the products :pillows, large beds, towels . The gastronomic restaurant is value for money. The staff as very helpfull and smiling. It is well located in the Gard for visits and offers room to relax. The premesis are beautiful and well decorated.free upgrade for parents room . Freshly squeezed juices at breakfast. The receptionists are very elegant and not wearing boring polyester uniforms as in some hôtel chaîne.
TrWe arrive 2 days after opening, so it was a little rock n roll. Thé builders were still finishing but were discrete. The hot water failed 2 out of 3 evenings, it did not matter as we were on a family trip and had all the time in thé world. The breakfast buffet is strictly continental . The only really annoying thing is the noice of the kitchen when you dine on the terasse. Perhaps lit would be wise not to have elegant receptionist to carry the lugage
