This hotel in Carcassonne was my base for a week long exploration of Cathar/Templar history in southern France. It was a quiet hotel and my room had a partial view on the Cite' which was fantastic. I wanted cooking facilities as I chose to prepare some of my own meals. I didn't really know fully what to expect for cooking facilities. I hoped I would get an oven and the studio didn't have that. Perhaps the larger units do, I don't know. I think a better description and/or photos of the cooking area would be helpful. |

it was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful. It was good value at this time of year (February) There were no UK TV channels. At least a UK news channel would have been good |

The room was quite large and it was delightful to have room to move around. The main desk was closed when we arrived so it was difficult to figure out how to get into our room. Everything went well but there was a moment of panic until we figured out each step. |

The kitchenette was very conveneient, and the location was perfect - right beside the castle. The town is very quiet in wintertime, and food and drink is still quite expensive even though it was off-peak season. The hotel was good though. |

The kitchenette was great, we bought very nice Toulouse sausages that stayed fresh in the fridge and could be cooked on the hob. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels and a nice jacuzzi room - only went in for an hour but was still nice to have. Staff were friendly and helpful with very good English. Mattress could be comfier and the shower head had to be hand-held. |

Very close to the medieval city a 5 minute walk, and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Carcassonne. Reasonably priced apart-hotel in comparison to others in Carcassonne. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Due to the time of year, January, the reception desk was rarely open. Not a major issue but as this was separate from the rest of the hotel the lobby was locked so you couldn't use the fitness suite or spa bath while reception was closed, which was most of the day. |

Wonderful view of the castle from our spacious room. Well stocked kitchen including good working fridge and microwave. Only news channel in English on television. No big deal for us as we had not gone to watch television. Sunday no receptionist available to book in with but proceedure information on paperwork easy to understand and follow. |

The hotel was truly excellent in every respect. It was a mere 500 metres by a pedestrian access to an entrance to the Cite. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make my stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. Ten out of ten on every possible scale and most highly recommended. |

The position of the Hotel, and also underground parking. We found the staff very helpful, but honestly feel a charge of 10 euros for the breakfast way over priced. Having travelled through France and stayed at other Hotels, an excellent breakfast with hot food could be purchased for 6/7 euros. |
