Food and staff excellent.

Very friendly and really helpful staff, delicious dinner!

The auberge was very nice. Breakfast was satisfactory and the evening meal quite good. The bar and restaurant were particularly well decorated and pleasant rooms.

Car parking was 200 metres away. We were not warned that there would be a "music society" booked into the restaurant on our second night. So when we came into the restaurant at 7.30pm we were told we could not eat there. This was very disappointing as they had not told us the previous evening when we dined there, nor at breakfast.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is idylic. The staff friendly and professional and the restaurant tasty.

A very warm welcome, a lovely comfortable room furnished with considerable style and taste. Dining was a very enjoyable experience, an excellent meal with good local wine and very reasonably priced.

Anne, the owner very welcoming and always helpful. Her staff were the same, polite, positive - above fault. Food excellant, room comfortable and clean. Village in nice rural/ mountain setting. Everything was perfect. We will return

Boutique feel

Friendly and helpfull manager, the room was tiny with one small window, it was very hot due to the weather and we wedged the bedroom door open the get some sleep...The room was clean with a very old small shower, which was difficult to use...

I booked for 1 night on a Wednesday, although the web site showed a bistro, it is not open on that night, to be fair, I did have an e mail in English after I had booked the room, informing me that the Bistro was closed that night...We decided to keep the booking as Foix is 5ks away and we had a car. The manager recomended a very nice place to eat in the mountains, some 20 minutes away. Myrtles Auberge was fantastic an incredible view when you dine outside superb cuisine , service etc., a real gem, but not cheap...!!

The owner spoke English and the hotel was in a quaint village in the Pyrenees - ok if just nedded for a stopover.

The hotel was very difficult to find, particularly after driving 10 hours. The food was complicated and over priced, not suited to a family with with young children.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The restaurant meals were good quality and reasonable prices. Breakfast was good value for money. Free parking was available nearby and it was a 5 minute drive to Foix. We would certainly stay again.

Nothing!! Very basic. Not value for money. Food dreadful. Would not use it again or recommend it. Some comments shown on your web site are far from the truth and are very misleading. We use your site frequently but issues of this kind will put us off for the future.

Great beds, nice and tranquil village, really nice staff and owner and an excellent cuisine. We prolonged our stay.

Parking is difficult

A nice small hotel with very friendly staff. The restaurant was very good and menu was long and the waiter spoke English. Nice scenery around the village.

Our gps had problems finding the address. No airconditioning in the room. We happened to be in the village at the time of a big outside party during the night so we couldn't keep the windows open but that wasn't a big problem.

The reception was fantastic and even though we were 4 mature adult friends sharing a quad room it was fine. The bathroom was big and modern. We loved the food and the service was second to none! Would recommend to others.

Anna, the owner, and her staff spoke very good english which made both our room stay and dining experiences easier. The rooms were well decorated, spacious, and very clean. Included was free WiFi, and nearby parking (public parking). The restaurant was fabulous - don't skip a meal there.

Very small and uncomfortable shower in the 4 people bedroom

An extremely friendly and relaxed atmosphere; a perfect venue to base oneself and visit the many attractions of the region, The food was excellent, yet not expensive, the service first class and the local wines are excellent. The staff just could not do enough for the guests. The garden was a delight and a wonderful place to sit and read in the sun.

Only two things: A cat that bites! But you are warned. The flies, which at the time of year were a nuisance.

Nicely decorated rooms in small boutique hotel. Staff is extremely kind.

Showers are a bit on the small side

This place is an amazing find. I was searching for somewhere different when I came upon it. The internet images do not do justice to the real charm of the place. We experienced warm hospitality and wonderful service in both the hotel and restaurant. The room was very high quality, very clean, and the shower really fantastic (I love a good shower). With four of us in one room it was fine. ( have promised the husband a return visit without the offspring!)... The french/italian/english speaking (and somewhat handsome) waiter really made a great night of our dinner. If you are looking for an authentic slightly rural destination this is perfect. Having said that, it was only 15 mins by car from Foix making it a really fantastic getaway.....

Charming hostess who spoke good English. Very isolated hotel but very comfortable and friendly. Quiet location with beautiful views of the Pyrenees. No on site parking but space nearby. Quiet village.

Musty smell in the hall when we entered. Got attic room, kettle and tea making facility out in the hall. NoT.V.

All the staff were very friendly in particular the owner. The food was excellent and we were particularly impressed by the fact that many ingredients were sourced from local producers known to the owner personally. The deck and outside seating, when completed, will be a great addition.

Basic, but clean comfortable and friendly.
