La Barriere  

Very freindly owners who certainly made us welcome on arrival and we were quickly shown to our accomodation. This was very clean as indeed was the whole of the complex , experienced a little noise from the trains but nothing which prevented a reasonable nights sleep. The small French restaurant at La Barriere we would certainly advice trying as the food was reasonably priced and very good. Pricing for the room was very reasonable , with the additional 8 euros for breakfast very much the norm in France but certainly not bad value.Certainly we would stay here again to break the journey up when travelling via Calais further west as an ideal stopping point on route.

No real negatives but if I were to be a little critical the proximity to the railway is possible one but do not let this put you off staying here.

The hotel was very friendly, it helped that we spoke French, they served very good food on a variety of fixed price menus, the breakfasts were excellent, the rooms were impeccably clean and well maintained. Ideally situated for visiting nearby golf courses, or Etaples, Montreuil, etc. For our "shopping" weekend it was near perfect.

Very good value for money for both the room and the nice evening meal. Would stay here again if in the area.

Didn't worry us particularly but it is very close to a fairly busy railway line.

We felt instantly at home, welcomed by both the proprietor and the locals in the bar. Dinner, table d'hote was delicious and very good value.

It was right alongside a railway crossing! Having said this I would certainly stay again.

Full of character. Excellent food. Very helpful staff. One of our most enjoyable stops.

This is a very nice hotel for short stops. Dinner not up to much and the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evening but there is an excellent restaurant just three miles up the road in the direction of Le Touquet, Le Village Fleurie, with good prices and first class food. Room was roomy, clean, comfortable set off a nice courtyard and the owners were very helpful even storing the wine we had bought in their cellar for us. Would definitely use this hotel again for a stopover to and from the ports. Never heard the trains enough to bother us

Excellent little hotel with rooms surrounding a pretty little courtyard. Very pleasant staff who were most helpful. Evening meals were good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good for the price. Room very clean and a decent size.

le petit dejeuner à 8€ tres basic 1 croissant,pain,beurre et confiture pour ce prix un peu de fromage et charcuterie serais justifié.

Pour le choix d'une demi pension: menu peu attractif et ne savait dire si le lendemain elle changeait de menu. Conclusion: on a pris que la chambre et on est allé manger en ville à 8km. On n'ira plus

Joli, petit hotel du coin avec caractere ,ambience familliale ,accueil chalereux .cour agreable ,les proprietaires du hotel sont bien respectes par les gens du coin .
