La Barriere is 5 minutes from the A16 highway and 650 ft from the SNCF Train Station in Rang-du-Fliers. Its restaurant serves traditional cuisine and is served in the courtyard in warmer months. Its rooms with private bathrooms are simply and individually decorated. They have a shower, cable TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. All of the rooms have a view of the courtyard. Inmmaculately clean throughout. An excellent stop-over less than 60 miles from the ferry/chunnel. The hotel is, as the name might suggest, right next to half-barrier level cossing with the potential for traffic and train noise. Although we did hear a couple of trains, they did not disturb our sleep at all.

We felt instantly at home, welcomed by both the proprietor and the locals in the bar. Dinner, table d'hote was delicious and very good value. It was right alongside a railway crossing! Having said this I would certainly stay again.

This is a very nice hotel for short stops. Dinner not up to much and the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evening but there is an excellent restaurant just three miles up the road in the direction of Le Touquet, Le Village Fleurie, with good prices and first class food. Room was roomy, clean, comfortable set off a nice courtyard and the owners were very helpful even storing the wine we had bought in their cellar for us. Would definitely use this hotel again for a stopover to and from the ports. Never heard the trains enough to bother us Evening meal was not very nice.

The room was clean and well appointed. Even though it is next to the railway, this presented no problem. Food, wi fi is u/s, Parkink is public accross the road.

The rooms were simple but spotless , and there was a pleasant courtyard outside . The food ! Everything we asked for was " off today " , and the beef was as tough as could be . The pudding was excellent though .

Felt very secure and liked arangement of rooms around courtyard with plenty of space to sit out. Owners friendly and lovely dog! Rooms good size and our request to have two rooms close together was fulfilled. Some may not like train noise but did not bother us.

Excellent little hotel with rooms surrounding a pretty little courtyard. Very pleasant staff who were most helpful. Evening meals were good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good for the price. Room very clean and a decent size.

Excellent, great value for money. Full of character and the personal service from the owner adds to the charm. Great layout of the accommodation with outside social area. Everthing in immacculate condition. Has the benefit of a bar and restaurant. Mix with the locals. Nothing.This is the best find in this area at the price.
