The wifi was off while we were checked in so we did not have access to the internet. No compensation was offered.
Location was great. Although if u are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Staff was great.
No lift so quite a hike up to top floor.
Traditional French rooms with all modern comforts. Lovely deep bath
The hotel's location makes it easy to find and convenient for exploring the center of town. The room was nicely decorated, if a bit dark.
The staff seemed harried and inattentive and I felt no sense of welcome at any point. There are no common areas in which to relax. The service at breakfast was indifferent and the meal itself, quite ordinary. Finally, as a single, female guest, I felt a bit uneasy accessing my room, which was at rear of the dark courtyard and up a flight of partially obscured stairs. .
Super friendly and helpful staff! The room was charming and comfortable and the location was right on the main restaurant row! Would definitely return.
Location, wonderful room and bathroom, atmosphere
Long wait for service at dinner and indifferent presentation and standard of food.
The rooms were very spacious with a nice bed. Very well located. Cute bathroom.
Very tired deco and towels. Dirty windows and balconies. Dirty and tired carpet. Definitely not a 4star hotel and definitely doesn't worth 250 euros per night.
This hotel must have been nice 10 years ago. Unfortunately it looks like the owners did not invest one penny to maintain it, everything is used, broken, dirty including carpets and bed covers. We had to shorten our stay.
Having a room off the street & location for walking.
No washcloths & balcony was full of dirt.
Location and staff were great. Room was better than expected with a sitting area and a balcony.
Balcony was so pleasant but there were empty planters and planters with dead plants. It was May and they should have been more concerned with this presentation in Provence. But, this was characteristic not just if our room or hotel, but of the city and whole region as well. So we can't fault the hotel when it is characteristic of the whole area. One day the manager thought we had checked out and the room was not cleaned when we returned late and were tired. We spoke to the front desk and they sent clean linens to the room and graciously gave us a very deep discount for that night. (We were leaving the next day.). Only other thing is that you enter the hotel off the main street and must walk through their restaurant, which is the most popular of the town. Since smoking is allowed outside, every time you come and go is through the smoky crowd.
Location is excellent. Very friendly staff.
No desk in the room, nothing to write on. Bed not very comfortable (mattress not flat)
Before we asked the staff to do anything, it was done! They could not have been any more polite and courteous! When our bathtub broke, we didn't have ask them to move us to another room, they voluntarily moved us to a different and nicer room on their own. They even helped us pack and move our things. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely come back to this hotel only! In addition, their restaurant is the best! Francine Rogers
A lovely room, very good location, one could just step out into the major shopping street in the heart of the city. Restaurants and cafes all around. The staff was very friendly.
The air conditioning did not work well, but luckily we did not have very warm temperatures.
Location and staff were good
Room cleanliness and general facilities are a bit ropey - or skall i asyl French?
Old style comfortable furninshings Room size Nice bathroom
located in city center. Nice rooms.
No parking area, only private parking where they bring the car to. Not easy for handicaped people to come to the room. Expensive breakfast for what you get.
Simple but good French breakfast (bread, jam, coffee or tea) Advise to book suite if extra price is reasonable
No coffeemaker in room
The location and the room both very good.
But the room was not exact the typ confirmed.
Very French restaurant with rooms. Right in the heart of Aix, comfortable and well presented. They park your car for you in the nearby (5 mins walk) carpark for €20. Very good place to stay in Aix.
The rain! Not their fault
I liked the spacious room and its design. Also, it was really convenient that there was a restaurant downstairs so we didn't have to go far for a meal.
During our stay, the lights went out. It took quite a long time for them to fix it.
The rooms had the decor as shown in pictures, but the photographer must have been very good . In person, everything was old and worn. The carpeting was frayed and unraveling. The bathroom tissue holder fell off the wall. I was scheduled for two nights. I cancelled the second and stayed at another hotel.I could continue: staff was unfriendly, access to room was difficult and unclean.
Convenient location. Hotel met all my needs.
No specific issues.
The hotel is a cluster of rooms behind a cafe which runs as a club Thursday-Saturday. Despite this, the noise level was acceptable. Great location for exploring the old part of town north of marbeille de cours.
The ineptitude and indifference of the staff was appalling. Ordered petit dejeuner was never delivered, simple inquiries were met with a provincial sneer. Our only bad experience in an otherwise wonderful trip.
