la posizione è centralissima e le camere molto belle

pochissima pulizia totalmemte insufficiente e colazione mediocre

Mi è piaciuta molto la camera, molto particolare e fine oltre che pulitissima e mi è piaciuta molto la posizione centralissima su cuore mirabeau.

Difficoltoso l'accesso alle camere con scale ripide.

Bellissima struttura situata sul corso, dove sino a notte fonda il rumore delle macchine, della gente che urla e della musica dei locali impediscono totalmente il riposo; poi dalle 5 alle 7 comicia il lavaggio strade e il rumore continua. Il parcheggio privato si trova a 800 metri dall'hotel e ciò non è pratico per chi deve utilizzare la macchina ogni giorno, soprattutto se occorre caricare e scaricare materiale e borse. Durante il mio soggiorno la chiave elettronica spesso non funzionava, mentre il telefono della camera non ha mai funzionato.

Notevole la posizione, e lo stile dell' hotel.

Le camere non fumatori in realta' sapevano di fumo. La moquette nelle stanze e' risultata lacera e sporca, peccato perche' nell' insieme la camera ha uno stile molto piacevole e il bagno e' veramente molto bello.

La posizione e la suite.

Grandissima mancanza di professionalità alla reception da parte dei vari addetti.( Es. Essere disturbati insistentemente in camera ( suite ) a mezzanotte per cercare qualcosa negli armadi ... ) L' entrata ed il percorso per le camere. Ritrovare la ns. auto con vari segni ogni volta che veniva portata al parcheggio dal loro personale.

La posizione centralissima. La cortesia e l'efficienza del personale. Mi è stato chiesto di cambiare camera per fovorire una famiglia che voleva due camere vicine e mi è stata offerta allo stesso prezzo la suite n°1 con camera, salotto, sala bagno con jacuzzi e hammam ... Colazione ricca la mattina a soli 6,5 €. Molto buono anche il ristorante per qualità e prezzo.

il fatto che sia anche ristorante rende l'ambiente pieno di confusione e disordine.

Arredo della stanza splendido, camera molto confortevole e spaziosa. Molto gradita la vasca da bagno decisamente comoda e rilassante. Splendida la posizione dell'hotel sul corso principale e l'affaccio della camera sul cortile interno infiorato.

Si tratta di suite molto ben arredate in stile provenzale chic , con personale molto gentile .L'unico neo e' che rimangono in un cortile interno chiuso sul retro di un ristorante al piano terra .Colazione scarsa

Reception area, and the getting to the rooms back of hotel so had to go through a bit of a utility area

We travelled on the Eurostar for our first time in Aix-en-Provence. The hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

The hotel is decorated in French Provincial and is so cute. Our room had 2 french door windows that overlooked the boulevard in front of the hotel which is a major boulevard. The continental breakfast is a good price with fresh squeezed OJ.

The hotel also operates a great restaurant and the front desk serves the restaurant also, so during peak hours it is hard to get information or assistance; it just takes a little longer to get.

The personnel was great and did everything possible to help with the problems we had with the Internet (we could not enter the room for over half an hour at iChat time) and offered drinks. The decorations are quite fabulous and it will eventually be a nice place to stay.

The place is still being renovated and even our suite, which has a great potential is still not completed. The shower stall door was crooked and the water was running outside so that the bathroom was constantly wet and a smell of humidity was present. They were painting the staircase as we were coming in and out of the room. There were issues with the Internet. Two other American families were with us and complained of a few little things. The hotel will be great eventually but is not worth the price at this point.

-Our room was amazing for 145 euro. It was a beautiful suite with 2 balconies, sitting area, entry hall, 2 bathrooms. Chamber 5.

-Intermittent WIFI service

The slightly shabby chic Pierre Frey decor was charming but a bit knocked about in places.

Although the service was good, it was hard for them to be completely attentive what with the cafe and restaurant to run as well. I did not fully explore the hotel's facilities though.

Rooms beautifully furnished and quiet.

No elevator.

Perfect location on the main street of Aix-en-Provence, above an excellent restaurant. Huge clawfoot soaking tub and separate shower, big fluffy towels, very comfy bed. Valet car parking service was great. In-house restaurant was excellent, and we found several more gourmet-level, friendly smaller restaurants within easy walking distance on the back streets. Easy walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly & helpful. We would absolutely stay there again.

There are steps to climb, although not many for the room we had. The staff is busy running the restaurant and they don't speak much English, which we didn't mind and wasn't a problem for us, but don't expect a dedicated concierge or front desk.

Convenient location, quiet room

BED needs to be replaced! English speaking needs to be more available.

The position, the Brasserie, some of the staff and proximity to everything are excellent. The decor is attractive, the bed room was delightful, spacious and as it looked over the courtyard fairly quiet, except when the trolleys were being shunted around. The food is good if not spectacular and one can eat until very late which is a boon for after theatre diners like ourselves.

The hotel is really a brasserie with rooms and needs to think a little more of its guests. The courtyard leading to the rooms is often cluttered with trolleys which is a shame as it could be a real gem and many of the rooms look on to it. The lighting to the courtyard at night is almost non existent, very dangerous for elderly people. Some of the staff are charming but there is a huge turnover and some are very off hand in their service.

The matress was horrendous with a massive dip in the centre, the worst ever! Also there were no handles on the chest of draws which made opening and storing clothing quite difficult!

La Bastide Du Cours is a beautiful, yet quaint, hotel with a great restaurant! It is centrally located on the famous Cour Mirabeau, with access to historic sites, the Aix-de-Provence tourism office, markets, shopping, etc. Even though the hotel has no elevators, the hotel staff was kind enough to carry our suitcases up to our room located on the 4th floor. The friendly hotel staff also called to confirm tour pick-up times and cab rides for us.

While the lack of elevators was not an issue for my husband and I as we are both very physically fit, it might not be convenient for everyone.

We liked the accommodation well enough to wish to stay there again

the lack of a shower and a difficult bath to get in to did not endear us to the room. also the lack of a lift does not help older aged people

The rooms were beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very nice with all amenities like blow dryer, shampoo,etc but also had toothbrush and toothpaste. It was so quaint with our two rooms being the only rooms on our floor. We all loved the hotel.

Our room key didn't work twice. I don't know why it stopped working. If you wanted something from the front desk, you had to wait. There is a restaurant in the building also and the staff is often busy with that.
