We liked the building, the village, the rooms in the hotel and the very friendly patron. A kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room would have made this visit perfect!

Lovely location, great rooms, all slightly rustic/quirky which we loved, one of the best breakfasts we have ever had, in the lovely garden. Slight walk uphill to Moustiers but it was worth it, the views amazing. Would definitely return again, this time for longer. Would have been perfect if dinner had been provided, although nice to go up into the town and sample the restaurants which were excellent, it would have been equally nice to sit in the lovely garden with a simple dinner and bottle of wine.

The bedroom and bathroom were big, clean and recently renovated. The night we were there was hot so we made use of airconditioning wich worked very well. The location is good as one can walk to center of Monstieur. On our way to hotel, we called them in order to get instructions on how to get there. After that it was easy to find it. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We liked this hotel! It has a perfect location just outside Moustiers (5 min walk) which means one can enjoy the piece and quiteness of the beautiful garden whilst being only a few minutes walk away from the historic village which can get very busy in the high season. The rooms are very nicely decorated with a lot of charme (every room is different and quality of interior is very good) and breakfast is served in the Garden. We unfortunately stayed only one night as we were travelling through the country, however we felt we received great value for our money. nothing for families, best for young / middle aged couples

Down below the town which is therefore quiet, but quite a steep uphill walk into town. Liked the view of the garden and fruit trees. Decor very pleasant. Host very unwelcoming on our arrival and did not explain about breakfast (nor anything in the bedroom). Plumbing very modern and difficult to work at first. No explanation of the fact that the bathroom light had to be switched on in order to use the electric point . Two tiles missing under the basin. The old building was very well insulated but we found the tiled floor cold. Uneven steps on the staircase.

Breakfast was good. Location convenient. Clean. Room good size. Poor welcome; Staff barely spoke french (in france..), and no English. Lecturing on "calm" hotel by grumpy owner. Young children not welcome but noisy teenagers skyping in the corridor at midnight was ok... TV did not work.

Perfect location far away from cars and noise. Rooms are big and very nice, breakfast very good. Beautiful garden and nice stuff. A bit expensive for two-star hotel, breakfast not-included, what gives 140 euros per night per couple...

The hotel was simple but charming. The room was quite big and the bed very confortable. We liked the little garden in front of the hotel for having a drink in the evening. The surrounding nature and the town of Moustiers St. Marie are beautiful. Definitely a highlight on our provence roundtrip. The staff made us feel wellcome and was helpful with tips for exploring the surrounding area.

Near the mountains, with a gorgeous view, and driving distance of Moustiers (a lot of shopping in quaint town, with water running thru it). The room was very nice, and the food was very good.

Beautifull location and lovely old hotel nestling just below the picturesque town/village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie on the amazing Route Napoleon.The eccentric owner and his staff were excellent,the rooms large and extremely well presented and a lovely garden to relax in. The only thing wrong was that we couldn't stay any longer. If your travelling in this area don't bother to look anywhere else..

Il posto è davvero delizioso. L'albergo è proprio ai piedi delle montagne a pochi passi dal centro di Moustier, località incantevole. Le camere sono spaziose e ben curate. La colazione è servita in giardino in un'atmosfera davvero romantica... Accoglienza affettuosa e simpatica. Le tende non sono affatto oscuranti, per chi ha problemi a dormire con la luce è meglio dotarsi di mascherina per la notte.

Very good position. Warm welcoming and good fresh breakfast served on a nice and relaxing terrace. We also received good advices about what to visit in the area (very helpful tip about the lavand fields). Some signs or indicators to the place on the main road will be very helpful.
