very nice location in a quiet environment

This hotel is under new management and is excellent. Great location from the pool area into deep water sea swimming. Excellent staff, Great rooms. Good parking. Superb lunches and dinners in two separate superbly located venues. 10 minute walk down to the harbourside restaurants of Cavalerie and its long beach. 25 minute drive to the long St Tropez beach.

Breakfast was passable with limited choices, poor replenishment and at 20 euros expensive. They are going to put in fixed showers this winter. Our bedroom only had a hand held shower. We told them there should be a shower on the jetty when exiting the sea. It is difficult to find without a sat nav - so get organised when you first arrive. It is Hotel Calanque - not Les Residence du Soleil. That is the ownership chain.

Spectacular view. Outstanding common areas. Good restaurant food. Helpfull personnel.

No handicapped access to pool and spa. The name of the hotel was not given on the reservation correctly, making it difficult to find.

From the private balcony adjoining our room we had a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. An especially nice touch was the Fragonard body wash and shampoo supplied daily as well as the slippers and robe. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The meal in th dining room was an adventure and a delight.

The only difficulty we had was finding the hotel. We were glad that we had googled and map quested the hotle yet we still had difficulty. The name Residences du Soleil was not evident, merely Hotel de la Calanque...somewhat confusing for people new to the area. It was not until we had pulled into the parking lot that we found out that we were, indeed, at the right place.

Le fait d'être au bord de la mer et de l'entendre

emplacement et vue superbe. Calme, gentillesse du personnel, région que nous apprécions bcp.

tout est parfait, le gout des tentures est discutable....et la qualité des sanitairs laisse à désirer. La douche inonde tout, (joins et pommeau usagés!)

Die Lage des Hotels in einer Bucht ist sehr schoen. Die Zimmer sind nett ausgestattet.

Mit dem Service waren wir nicht zufrieden.Vor allem der Service beim Fruehstueck (20 Euro!); das "Nachlegen" beim Buffet ist darauf angelegt, dass man moeglichst wenig essen kann.

Fraai uitzicht, verzorgde kamer. hotel is rustig gelegen,doch lopend maar 5 minuten naar het dorp. Voor de verwende vakantieganger

Avec la vue sur les calanques voisines, la mer, le cadre est un ravissement de tous les instants. Situé dans un quartier calme, mais à proximité du centre, les déplacements peuvent se faire à pied, c’est un plus agréable. Un mot sur l’accueil, tout simplement excellent. Toute l’équipe s’est montrée ouverte à nos demandes, généreuses en bons conseils sur les (nombreuses) excellentes tables de la région. Un hôtel dans lequel nous nous sommes sentis presque comme en famille. Bravo à Maud et toute sa superbe équipe, l’accueil était courtois, toujours souriant et les petites attentions nombreuses. Mentionnons encore que notre chambre était très bien tenue, contrairement à ce que laissent supposer certains commentaires.

Devoir repartir de ce superbe endroit. En cherchant bien, il était également dommage qu’aucune boulangerie ne daigne collaborer avec l’hôtel pour offrir de la baguette fraiche. Mais bon c’était vraiment en cherchant bien.

Alles. Das Haus scheint neu renoviert. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer im 2. Stock mit herrlichem Blick und ansprechender Einrichtung( weißes Rattan). Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, wenn auch vielleicht nicht so professionell wie in einem Hotel der großen Ketten. Auch die Aussicht vom Speise- bzw. Frühstücksraum ist atemberaubend. Da das Hotel nicht so groß ist, haben wir auch im August leicht eine Liege am Pool bekommen. Zum Schwimmen sind wir ohnehin ins Meer vom Steg gleich unterhalb und das vor dem Frühstück das erste Mal. Die Bucht ist herrlich. Alles in allem ein Aufenthalt von dem man zehren kann.

Es war etwas schwierig am Pool Getränke zu bekommen, weil die Bar von der Rezeption aus mitbetreut wurde. Beim Abendessen muss man aus unerfindlichen Gründen mit langen Wartezeiten rechnen. Das Essen ist aber sehr gut und das Ambiente sowieso. Für uns hat der Charme dieses Hotels insgesamt die kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten locker aufgewogen.
