Excellent location, very close to the train station and to a large, free, parking space next to it. It's also next to the center. Our room was very large and the staff very friendly. The ratio price/quality was goed.

Not a very walkable city unless you stay in the city centre...
Not a very walkable city unless you stay in the city centre or along the river. There are lots of great restaurants and bakeries, and our stroll along the river was very nice. The first Sunday of the month will get you free admission into the two main museums for pottery and a garden, so I'd recommend that. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed walking around the Gold Street and reading the signage (including in English) about some of the history of the area.
Everything! Beautiful old building tastefully renovated and filled with Alsatian brocante/antiques; beautiful, spacious, super clean rooms with truly excellent beds; super nice and helpful staff with highest level of professionalism; superb dining in their Michelin star restaurant (highly recommended!); equally fantastic breakfast with gorgeous pastry and home-made jams. Very nice terrace overlooking the large garden with old trees. Possibly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in!
We never got in the hotel, as no one showed up to the reception! They asked to inform if we arrive before 5pm, we did so, by email and by phone, left phone messages too. No answer. We waited from 2.30pm to almost 6pm - no one came. It was hot, about +33 degrees! A lady called as at about 6.30pm giving explanations... but then we were already on the road away form the town - and looking for another hotel and luckily found it in Metz late in the evening. And got good service!
great location next to station, opposite patisserie and only a short walk to the town.
free safe parking at the station just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
comfortable bed, ample storage in the room and a fan provided for hot days .
friendly and welcoming staff.
The hotel is beautifully furnished with antiques and local artwork, including lots of faience ceramic pottery. It was like spending the night in a museum full of beautiful objects. The restaurant is outstanding, but expensive.
The interior is clean and pleasant as per the photos. Large shower, washing machine available.
Obviously you get more space than in a hotel room!
The neighbourhood is quiet.
Everything. The hotel is very dog friendly making your stay with your pet easy and comfortable. The spa/swimming pool area is very well kept, organized and clean. Kudos.
