Food in the bistro restaurant.
Liked everything, room, pool, walks around the estate. Nice dinner on the first night.
Second night dinner by menu was identical to the first day menu (main dish), which is strange. But quality is still very good
Beautiful location and surrounding villages, wonderful and attentive service, excellent on site restaurants and facilities, luxury experience for exceptional value! Don't be deterred by the renovations that are taking place, it might wake you up of you're sleeping in, but with plenty to see and do, it can be a good thing!!
Amazing views, excellent staff, very comfortable room, great restaurant, two fab pools, nicely maintained. This is an extremely good hotel that deserves its high rating. Also, the wine produced here is wonderful - particularly Le Petit Miracle 2012.
The location is super nice. The Hotel itself superb. The facilities are great: 2 swimming pools (huge both), nice tennis court, great bike rental, decent spa/gym, 2 amazing restaurants (+ bistro), kids playground and private parking. Everything surrounded by vineyards and a fantastic view of provence. The room are super nice (we stayed at room 401). We had our own private garden, big bathroom, living room and a super comfortable bed (also very good cot-bed for our baby). The restaurants Le Bistro (the more affordable as the other one is super expensive) was outstanding. The ambient but more important the food (3 courses for 38euros).
No staff by the swimming pool. You need to walk all the way to the bar to ask for drinks (no food allowed). Also the shower at the room is bad designed as everything can get wet.
It's a nice hotel with excellent facilities and pool.
The ongoing construction does affect the quality of stay.
The views from the property are amazing and the grounds and flowers were impeccable.
There were flys in our room and no fly swatters available to kill them. Air conditioning didn't seem to keep up with the warm conditions.
The staff - for a hotel of this calibre, the staff all came across as being genuinely nice, friendly and helpful. Which was refreshing, esp as we rocked up looking like drowned rats on a motorbike. The property is very well done and the surrounding area simply stunning. It is definitely worth renting bikes to explore the area - although be warned that there will be a lot of uphill riding involved! The food in the bistro was very good, as was the breakfast. I would definitely come back!
The dispensers for shower gel, shampoo, hand soap and lotion. Although the products themselves were great (L'Occitane - how can you go wrong), and I agree that the concept of dispensers is 'greener' than using many small bottles of things, the dispensers themselves are quite stingy. It took an awfully long time pumping the dispenser in order to get a small palmful of shampoo. very annoying.
Everything! Beautiful location. Immaculate grounds. Fab swimming pool. Lovely food, especially breakfast. Free vineyard tour. Excellent bicycle hire, though we didn't use as it was too hot but my husband enjoyed looking at them! Don't be put off by the work being done this year, really didn't bother us at all.
Restaurants a bit pricey to be eating at every night, no matter how good they are. There is an Italian restaurant on site which was cheaper, but unfortunately closed too early to use it for an evening meal.
Andrea at reception was outstandingly helpful arranging for repairs to our car. Organized everything, was totally aware of everything to ask and very pleasant. Service in bistro was also outstanding. A great place to stay in a beautiful part of France
Grounds are immaculate even during construction. It's just beautiful. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I would absolutely go back!
This is a beautiful property and it was very relaxing to stay here. They do have construction going on through March 2105 in order to expand, but it didn't detract from our stay.
