Hôtel La Flore  

My wife and I were transitioning from the language school, L'Institut de Francais, and needed a hotel room in Villefranche before leaving the next day.

We have two somewhat minor complaints, but in a hotel such as La Flore these should not have been/happened. The first is that there are no kleenex/tissues/mouchoirs in the chambres. Every other hotel at this level we have stayed in has them. An inconvenience without them. The second is that they forgot to call a taxi for us in the morning when we had asked for one at check-in the previous afternoon. It was even entered in the book, but someone dropped the ball. Luckily we flagged down a taxi as it drove by and made it to Nice train station on time.

The staff were very friendly especially Dani and made a lovely breakfast. Wonderful views across the bay. If you have a car try parking in the Citadel we always found a space and down by the waterfront.

It is a steep walk down and back to the seafront.

Short walk to old town villefranche-sur - mar which is beautiful .The staff was very friendly .

Small room,It was basic need of redecoration,The 'bathroom' is very old dirty around the edges of the shower. .135Uro without breakfast! A bit expensive

Shower was broken. Bar service was ridiculous, and I wouldn't bother with doing a 'buffet' breakfast, just stick with good continental.Whole place needs a shot in the arm.

Wonderful location with sea view. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable with semi-private outdoor terrace per each room. Easy location to find from road and wonderful historic town of Villefranche sur Mer!

I wish breakfast was included in the price of our room as all our other similarly-priced hotels on this vacation included breakfast. Also, there was a large crane partially obstructing our beautiful sea view, but I realise that the hotel was not responsible for that!

Останавливались в отеле на 5 дней. Соотношение цена-качество приемлемое. Отель находится в пригороде Ниццы, и очень удачно расположен для авто-путешественников. Когда бронировали отель, преимуществом была бесплатная парковка авто. Из окон открываются слепящий вид на морскую бухту с множеством всевозможных корабликов и восхитительные пейзажи Лазурного берега. До большого городского песчаного пляжа, который находится слева (относительно вида из окна) 15-20мин.пешком, но есть ещё и местный небольшой пляж с крупной галькой, до которого 7-10 минут идти пешком через стоянку яхт, которая находится (относительно окон) внизу. Если выйти из отеля направо, то через 200метров находится сетевой минимаркет, а в парке проходит воскресная ярмарка. Сам отель довольно приличный для 3***. Шумоизоляция в отеле хорошая. Сантехника новая, телевизор плазменный, кондиционер работал достаточно хорошо, убирались и меняли бельё каждый день. Завтраки обычные, можно попросить из горячего яичницу или омлет.

Не понравилось то, что нет мини-бара, который можно использовать в качестве холодильника. А без холодильника летом очень некомфортно. Для такого отеля, холодильник можно было бы и предусмотреть. Долго разбирались с сейфом. Инструкция была не очень понятной про работу кнопки на внутренней торцевой стороне дверцы. На завтраке иногда не было яиц для приготовления омлета.
