La Garoupe-Gardiole  

The location was perfect and the attention to detail of the owner and staff. We were lucky to get the last room which was small but well equipped and scrupulously clean - the bathroom sparkled! The pool and patio area was a fantastic bonus and an opportunity to relax after a long journey.

We looked hard to find any thing wrong and the only negative comment I would make is over the coffee at breakfast - it was from a machine (common in hotels) and no where near as good as a jug of fresh hot coffee and jug of hot milk.

The Hotel is a nice adress in Antibes if you like to relax and enjoy both, it's beaches as well as the old town. It's position is ideal, the room was nice and the service good.

Well-located on the Cap. Pool very accessible and well laid out. Friendly family run hotel.

There was a fire on our first night there. Very chaotic, guests did not seem to know where to go. Electrical fault meant our rooms had no electricity for 24 hrs. We got a free breakfast for our inconvenience- not too impressed- found our own way to room in dark, no A/C or hot water in morning or lights.

Location to the beach couldn't be beat! Wi-fi in room was also great.

The location is ok but requires a car the rooms were small but clean fair for the price.

No bar or restaurant other than breakfast there were minibars in the rooms. There certainally was space for both.

Poor offering for breakfast and yet expensive. Room basic. Not as close to beach as suggested, Car Parking said to be plentiful on site but in fact limited.

Personnel was very friendly and professional, taking care of any situation.

Located in Cap d'Antibes and only 300m from the nearest beach we found the hotel staff both friendly and accomodating. The hotel was spotless, as was the pool, and we thought it had a country house feel about it. Continental breakfast was served in a pretty courtyard surrounded by jasmin and bougainvillea plants. We would definitely return.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but why do other guests assume that they can walk down the hallway talking loudly at 2 am without disturbing all the other guests.

We had the family room and it was a little cut up but it is an old building so this is to be accepted. Bathroom was great, pool was great, location was great!

Bin seit fast 40 jahren in antibes, habe auch im ancien hotel royal in antibes gearbeitet, hatte bis 2010 eine residence secondaire in biot und habe bis dato nichts von ihrem schönen und gemütlichen hotel gehört - werden uns sicher wieder sehen und nochmals vielen dank für den schönen aufenthalt. j. gross
