There was one staff member who spoke English and was helpful. The room we were given had peeling wallpaper,heater falling off the wall ,the toilet seat was broken and no working plug in the washbasin.When we asked for another room,at first we were told none was available,but eventually we were moved. When we asked what time dinner was,we were told that as we hadnt booked it none was available.We were then directed to eat in the village but after looking at the menus we decided not to. We then went to St.Didier 5 miles away and had a great meal which we repeated on our second night in Venasque.

I liked the location The Hotel Garrrigue does not live up to the good comments in various forums. The staff at reception seemed overworked and not very concerned. The hotel room was just ok. Will certainly never go back.

The village of Venasque is really special, it was the highlight of our stay in Provence. Some rooms don't have TV and bathrooms are small.

The hotel is located in a small beautiful village and is close to Avignon. The room was clean and the receptionist spoke English. The signal of WiFi was very low, therefore it was not possible to connect to the Internet.

Hotel très calme en dehors du village parking privé fermé le soir patron aimable Petits déjeuners copieux Chambre avec terrasse( la terrasse est microscopique et mal entretenue) Ainsi que le parc qui pourrait être superbe mais ne ressemble à rien car pas entretenu du tout Il faut retenir à l'avance pour manger sur place

Nous avons beaucoup aimé ce petit hôtel pour son authenticité et son calme, nous voulions un endroit calme et romantique pour un week end en amoureux et je dirais que cela correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes. Le cadre est magnifique, Venasque vaut la peine d'être visiter comme la région d'ailleurs, l'accueil était agréable et surtout on nous a donné de bons conseils pour nos balades en moto...A refaire... Pas de restauration possible mais pour cause par le biais de booking on a pas pu prévenir l'hôtel qu'on voulait déjeuner mais le propiétaire de l'hôtel nous a indiqué des bonnes adresses...

Simpele kamer uit de bruine periode.Separate badkamer met toilet, douchen in het bad. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Ontbijt echt Frans, maar prima. Zwembad was zonder water ( april ). Rustige omgeving net buiten het dorpje op ca 200 meter afstand. Prima restaurant-hotel in dorp met fantastisch uitzicht over de vallei. Kamerprijzen gelijk aan Garrique ( zijn familie van elkaar ) Wel reserveren in dit restaurant voor diner. Carrique heeft eigen P-terrein. In april was het zwembad niet gevuld. Balkondeur kon niet op slot (incident)

Det passede lige at bo der på vores årlige vintur I det sydlige Rhone, inden vi skulle videre nordpå mod det nordlige Rhone og Bourgogne. Vi var de eneste 4 der boede på La Garrigue (mandag I uge 39), da det var uden for højsæson.Restaurationen havde derfor ikke åben, men der var gode muligheder I byen. Ok

Sehr freundliches Personal, könnte noch etwas besser geschult sein. Schöne Lage, traumhaft ruhig gelegen - und doch nur wenige Schritte vom Ort entfernt. Gepflegter, sauberer, schöner Pool. Zimmer einfach aber mit allem Komfort. Würde gerne wieder hinfahren. W.B. Service und Sauberkeit könnten noch etwas besser sein.
