There was one staff member who spoke English and was helpful. The room we were given had peeling wallpaper,heater falling off the wall ,the toilet seat was broken and no working plug in the washbasin.When we asked for another room,at first we were told none was available,but eventually we were moved. When we asked what time dinner was,we were told that as we hadnt booked it none was available.We were then directed to eat in the village but after looking at the menus we decided not to. We then went to St.Didier 5 miles away and had a great meal which we repeated on our second night in Venasque.

I liked the location The Hotel Garrrigue does not live up to the good comments in various forums. The staff at reception seemed overworked and not very concerned. The hotel room was just ok. Will certainly never go back.

The village of Venasque is really special, it was the highlight of our stay in Provence. Some rooms don't have TV and bathrooms are small.

The hotel is located in a small beautiful village and is close to Avignon. The room was clean and the receptionist spoke English. The signal of WiFi was very low, therefore it was not possible to connect to the Internet.

The internet/WIFI was not working properly.Sometimes we had connection, but many times, no connection. It was not dependable.No opaque curtain for privacy...

Nous avons apprécié le calme Nous avons trouvé les chambres très modestes avec une insonorisation totalement nulle et une salle de bain non fonctionnelle presque inutilisable par son étroitesse. Nous n'avons pas pu fermer les volets, cause végétation trop dense devant fenêtre. Heureusement que nous avions qu'une nuit à passer dans cet établissement !!!

L'hôtel se trouve dans un petit village magnifique. Parking privé et fermé. Le petit-déjeuner. Belle terrasse ombragée. L'hôtel est vieillissant (les tapisseries de notre chambre se décollaient, la télé en panne, la salle d'eau minuscule et pas pratique, la clim qui faisait du bruit, et un gros problème d'insonorisation). C'est dommage, car cet hôtel, avec une bonne rénovation des chambres, aurait de nombreux atouts pour faire un bon hôtel 2 étoiles dans un petit village exquis.

Det passede lige at bo der på vores årlige vintur I det sydlige Rhone, inden vi skulle videre nordpå mod det nordlige Rhone og Bourgogne. Vi var de eneste 4 der boede på La Garrigue (mandag I uge 39), da det var uden for højsæson.Restaurationen havde derfor ikke åben, men der var gode muligheder I byen. Ok

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage im idyllischen Ort VEnasque und könnte ein richtiges "Schückstück sein, allerdings ist es sehr heruntergekommen und verfügt nur über einen sehr geringen Standart. Die Möbelierung der Zimmer ist sehr einfach, das Bad sehr primitiv und das gesamte Gebäude müsste dringend renoviert werden. Für den gebotenen Standart ist der Preis stark überhöht.

Zauberhafte Lage am Rande des Städtchens Venasque. Unesco Kulturerbe, nahe des Weinanbaugebietes Ventoux. Guter Start für Radtouren. Für zwei Sterne, karge, aber ausreichende Zimmerausstattung.

zeer mooi dorpje, ideaal hotel om uitstapjes in de omgeving te plannen.lekker bescheiden ontbijt, eisen niet te hoog leggen maar wel zijn 8.00 euro waard. zeer kleine kamers, badkamer oud en versleten, afvoer bad werkte niet en wc-bril lag los. geluidsoverlast van de gang, isolatie niet fantastisch.

Chambre donnant sur terrasse privative. Piscine, salle à manger et terrasses agréables. Chambre twin très simple avec vieux meubles, salle de bains années 1970 sans meubles pour déposer les affaires et sans pare-douche.Difficultés pour trouver l'hôtel, même avec gps (mal indiqué aux abords).

“We found this a fantastic location, car essential to access. The staff were very helpful providing us with a secure facility to store our bicycles as well as providing some route cards to help with route decisions. The resturant staff added a spirit to their extensive collection after we requested it one evening we were then offered it the following night.
