La Grande Fontaine  

The room we were given left a lot to desire: the room was "overcrowded" with furniture that we did not need; there was not a table/desk at which we could sit down to use our laptop; a chair was stuck in the corner beside a sofa that we did not need and we had to pry in out of its place; there was not a suitable electric outlet to plug our laptop cord, and we had to use the outlet in the bathroom, and doing so we were devived of bath room privacy, since we could not close the bath room door; we could not have a shower because the water pressure was so weak that the shower head had no sufficient spray for a proper shower; the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work....... We could continue to describe other unbelievable lacunae! To rub salt into the wound, the price of the room was 69 Euros! We cannot believe that this "La Fontaine" belonged to the Logis de France!

We suggest that this La Fontaine be excluded from the Logis de France. We recommend that it be "banned" because if maintained the reputation of Logis de France is ruined.

Comfortable and friendly hotel in a good location.

On arrival we made our way to our rooms- passing the Hot Tub room on the way. After travelling 5 houtrs to each the Hotel, my wife and children thought it would be nice to have a relax in the Tub. There were no signs to suggest otherwise- just as they were about to enter the room (not the actual tub) the Manager ran up the stairs clapping his hands in an aggressive & confrontational manner. If the hot tub is not for use he should keep the door locked. Our experience of France and the French has been overwhelmingly positive and professional -this can not be said of this Hotel or the Manager.

I have stayed at La Grande Fontaine many times and have been very happy with the staff and the service.The hotel is ideally situated in the beautiful town of Jugon Les Lacs which is a magical place to visit.The staff cannot speak English but made every effort to make my stay a pleasant one. The hotel has a Jacuzzi, restaurant,bar and ample off road parking. The food at the hotel was good and the rooms were cleaned every day. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wished to stay. Jugon Les Lacs is a beautiful town and has many local attractions and holds events in the square throughout the summer.The people of the town are very welcoming and once you visit you will want to go back

It would be nice to see more choice of breakfast for example a buffet style breakfasts as not everyone likes continental breakfasts

Ik ken deze uitbaters al 16 jaar.En heb er in de buurt vrienden en familie wonen.De streek is ook uitzonderlijk moo.En je kan naar alle windrichtingen uit.Er valt heel veel te zien in de buurt.Dinan,Lamballe,Brest,Quemper,St.Cast enz;;;;;

Très bon accueil, endroit reposant et calme, visite du village et des environs agréable. La proximité des sites plus touristiques et du bord de mer tout en étant au calme. Propriétaires et employée très sympatiques.

Sans doute un établissement à rafraichir dans la déco des chambres prochainement (meubles écornés, moquette tachée)

Le simple reproche, le prix du petit déjeuner est élévé par rapport à la prestation.

La gentillesse du personnel, la literie très bonne, la souplesse des horaires pour dîner et déjeuner (confection de petits plateaux repas individualisés)

L'absence complète de wifi durant ma présence, ne me permettant pas de travailler.

La qualité de l'accueil, l'ensoleillement de la chambre, la cuisine simple et authentique,

la cabine de douche, le prix trop élevé par rapport à l'endroit et au niveau des prestations.

Pour les touristes qui souhaitent la tranquillité et le calme l'établissement est parfait. Peu de bruit à l'intérieur de l’hôtel et grand calme sur l'extérieur.
