Next to the lively République Square and just 650 ft from the metro station, is this 2-star hotel. Paris Bruxelles has an oriental-style exterior and it offers soundproof rooms with an LCD TV.

Parking expensive, No WIFI in my room, room a little grubby.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Superior suite, 2 pers. Great new room, a little bit small but hei, that's the Paris way. Clean room and bathroom. Confortable bed, not a nosy room. The hotel is situated in a nice area, very close to the metro, on a street with so many bistro bars. Lovey time!
Location, clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel right beside Saint Paul and Bastille metro so travelling is so handy.
Didn't have a kettle in room, could ask at repetition for hot water though.
Brilliant location for exploring Paris - can walk to the main attractions or the metro was a couple of minutes walk away. Cafes/ shops right outside. Nice staff, basic but comfortable room, good security.
Place in centrum, 200m from Bastille, good connection for public transportation. Frendly an helpfully workers, clean room. For this price, perfect!
The toilet and the bathroom too small...
Amazing location, friendly staff, good value for money, excellent wifi.
Noise from traffic
Excellent staff, adapted to all kind of conditions and demand. Great place, valuable for a pleasant business stay.
The room was completely renovated, so very clean, comfortable mattresses. Paid extra for a "soundproof" room (which just meant room wasn't facing the street, but worth it for light sleepers!) Closest metro is Bastille (which did not show up on iPhone map).
If you're staying higher than the 1st floor, be prepared for some really steep steps in the spiral staircase! Could be dangerous for those with balance issues, as hotel does not have a lift/elevator.
Clean, good location
There is no lift, had to climb 6 stairs. The stairs are very small, Some rooms do not have toilet inside, Very expensive for the money paid
location is very good, it is also quite
very uncorfortable toilets, not very clean rooms
Great location for the bars of Bastille, especially those on Rue de Lappe. Also very close to Bastille metro station.
Everything, including this hotel, is overpriced in Paris. Also, there is no lift. I stayed on the sixth floor so this was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, the hotel is fine really.
Price is cheap and close to the notre dame region. Nice otel for singles, not for couples
Very small toilet. Sometimes Wifi connection lost and got problem with kind of virus. Bed is not very good. Stuffs are not very smiley
Nice place in the centre of Paris near Bastil and Notre-dam de Paris. Very comfortable bed
Bad wi-fi connection
Fab hotel in every respect .I booked the superior room as these are newly done.Other half not done. Very comfortable beds modern clean and definitely at least a three star not a two.I rarely find comfortable pillows and this hotel has them.
The location was ideal. The room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and economical compared to the prices at nearby cafes.
The toilet was located on a different floor and was awkward and small. I am average height and I barely fit.
Forget pictures of the room on booking.com One bed room is poor, bad smell, thin wall. Really not good value for money
Newly refurbished spacious room with quality bathroom, newly fitted and very clean. Very quiet room with no disturbance.
The hotel is 200+ years old so has only a narrow staircase for access. Fine if you're fit and able. Fine if you don't have heavy bags. I didn't eat breakfast so no comment - modest looking room but functional.
this hotel was in a great location, 2 mins from the metro. Loads of great cafes, bars and shops on the doorstep. Staff were helpful with local info. Room was immaculate.
There is no lift so it is a bit of a trek if you are on a high floor.
Location near the Bastille square. Charming neighborhood full of bistrots, boulangeries, shops, etc. Typical Paris stuff.
It's a hostel. Shared bathroom, no lift, very basic. Noisy street.
I was not aware of the shared facilties. Very nosey and did not feel safe or comfotable. I spent the most on this hotel and was very disapointed.
The location was great. Room was very small - I hadn`t slept in a single bed for a long time in an attic type room. However, it was fitting for the period of the hotel - 200 years ol.
Toilet was on another floor
Reasonable position on edge of Marais district. Reception staff were helpful with luggage, taxis, etc. Room was basic & bathroom needed updating but was ok for just 2 nights.
Little expensive given the basic room and dirty hallway carpet etc.
I knew it was a good rate for Paris - and near the Metro and great food - but the quality of the room I was given didn't feel quaint, but like living in a slum. The people next to my room were very loud and the smell cigarette smoke came into the room. Fortunately you can open the windows & have a nice view. There was a small sink in the room and a desk. The linens were clean.
There is either a TINY toilet OR a TINY shower on each floor. I didn't feel comfortable using these facilities. It felt very seedy. The room I had looked nothing like what was pictured. It was very old and definitely not in a cute way. It felt like staying at a flop house. I forgot or didn't realize breakfast was offered and the hotel staff didn't mention it upon check in, but when I came downstairs to check out in the morning I saw several guests having what looked to be breakfast. I hadn't budgeted time to stop for a meal and had to head to the airport. The staff didn't know that though and still made no mention that it would be possible. There were no maps or information offered either. It wasn't necessary for me, but if you are new to Paris that might be something you'd like. I've found better, more quaint, spacious & charming accommodations for lower prices in better Parisian neighborhoods. It was sort of a bait and switch if you ask me. All in all it was fine, but it felt like a rip off for the quality of the room and facilities.
Quaint old hotel in a good location,
Breakfast was poor. Consisted of bread rolls with jam and butter and a fruit compote. Better to eat at local cafe
