Well decorated and renovated home. Lovely breakfast served in the formal dining room which has a view over the town.
Nothing to dislike.
Could not fault this wonderful place, the kindness of the owner and his attention to detail, even down to homemade shortbread at breakfast! Will be returning.
Not the cheapest place to stay in Honfleur, but definitely the best value for money. Beautiful house with great well appointed rooms. Real luxury and with a host who is always eager to please. If you are going to Honfleur (highly recommended) then this is the place to stay. Excellent.
As it was quite late in the season, we were the only guests for our over night stay. We were made to feel very special by our host in this beautifully quirky house, full of the most interesting collection of ornaments, paintings, furniture and niknaks. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. If you like something different from the norm, this is the place for you. We look forward to our next visit.
Friendly staff The traditional décor Nice breakfast Excellent wifi

Although all guest were thoughtful the wooden staircase could be noisy with inconsiderate guests.
Our room on top floor was very spacious and clean. The manor is lovely and full of interesting collections. Breakfast was delicious, including offer of eggs. Easy walk into Honfleur so it was great to just leave the car or to head out in the opposite direction for day trips. Christophe gave us great suggestions for places outside Honfleur to visit and a restaurant suggestion. Liked Honfleur a lot; more art and galleries than expected. Wonderful Fanny Ferre exhibition when we visited.
We chose to stay here after our original choice was fully booked but weren't disappointed. From the moment, we stepped into the house, we were greeted by Jean-Christophe who made us feel at home. Our room was the top floor which was a bit of a challenge if you have large suitcases but when we made it up there, there was a lovely fairytale like room waiting for us. Best wifi reception of all the hotels we stayed in. The hotel is around a 10 minutes walk to the center and is up a hill but it was ok for us. The breakfast was excellent with a fresh bread spread and omelette, salmon and ham. Breakfast was served in either the beautiful living room on the 1st floor or the ground floor. The only minor aspect is the tiny sign that the hotel has and if there could be lighting on the front gate, that would help guests to see the hotel. Otherwise, all I can say is two thumbs up. It was a pity that we only stayed 2 nights there so would love to come back in the future. A chance to practice my basic French as well ! Thanks Jean-Christophe !
Small sign for the house. If the signage could be larger and lighting at the front gate, it would be perfect
Charming character house, excellent service, and delicious breakfast, with quality little touches that make the stay memorable and special
Friendly and most obliging host. An elegant home with welcoming atmosphere. Good views and quiet location Excellent breakfast Parking facility
This is a small but excellently appointed bed and breakfast accommodation. The house is beautifully maintained with antiques including our own separate breakfast room. The owner was most friendly and helpful.
there is a modest uphill walk from Honfleur to the hotel which was a little struggle for a wife with arthritic hips and knees. There was a glitch with the credit card machine on leaving but this was probably a one off problem with the link.
a lovely home filled with charm and old world atmosphere. The place has been lovingly furnished and decorated. The breakfast is wonderful and it was nice to speak to other guests at breakfast.
Just loved the house. The room settings. Our own little breakfast room. Our most charming hosts Jean Christophe and Jean Louis. Just the whole experience.
Not one thing.
The charming owner has impeccable taste and the rooms are decorated with beautiful antiques. Lovely location and just a short walk to the town center. Ideal if you have a car.
Location Eccentric decor Large bedroom (2) Everything worked. Beautiful crockery and teapot and mugs plus kettle in our bedroom. Owner gave us carton of milk. Beautiful view from breakfast room
Garden looking neglected and whole house seemed deserted on arrival. Elderly owner of house ( very welcoming) lives on site and his son who runs the business comes in to do breakfast. So a bit of a strange and non traditional set up.
Welcome from owner, Ambience of the hotel
Please put drinking glasses in the rooms, so you can use to drink out of, only glass in the room is one in the bathroom which is used as a toothbrush holder.
Loved the quirkiness of the decor and the layout of the house. Jean Christophe and his dad were extremely welcoming and the perfect hosts.
The hill up from the town was quite daunting. Especially after a couple of beers.
location; welcome; fabulous decoration and atmosphere. value for money
we only stayed one night!
Personable and helpful owners. We wanted to eat at the Michelin rated restaurant in Honfleur and they were very kind and booked a table for us ahead of our stay. Lovely old house with diverse collection of interesting artefacts and antiques.
A wonderful house beautifully furnished, we felt as though we were going back in time. An easy walk into the old town. Jean-Christophe and his father made us very welcome, were friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast table and breakfast.
Attention to detail, can;t wait to go back
The house was very beautiful and had a character, it was itself one of the attractions in Honfleur. Breakfast was very nice too and hosts were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
The owners were very friendly and helpful
The hotel is excellent. The kindness of the owners is outstanding; we arrived late and hungry, and the owner woke up and drove us downtown in his own car. As everything was closed, he prepared a lunch for us, even at that hour, 11 p.m.
The Frenchness of the house, and the owner.
