Good kitchen Not too far from the town centre
Four of us stayed here for one night and there was plenty of room in the apartment where we weren't in each other's way. Very cool area to get around. We really enjoyed it.
big and comfortable
In the center of the city, the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Feels like part of the family
there is no air-condition, which made it hard to sleep.
Cozy Employees very nice
No AC..way too hot. Picture did not look like what I book Distance between sink and shower too narrow. If you are a little bit big you will need to squeeze in. If you are 5feet 7 it will be very hard for you to go to the bathroom distance between your legs and toilet not comfortable.
Very good location, not far from many attraction eg.Hotel de Ville,Opera, Palais de Pape, shopping streets and Pont d'Avignon and delicious bread and bakery shop nearby.Staff was very helpful, helped us carry big luggages up to our room on the top floor. Free Wifi
Far from Avignon Center train station but there was free shuttle bus. No elevator, not convenient for disabled, quite noisy from night cafe nearby.
Good position , ok for a couple nights.
No Parking ,the rooms where typical french décor.
Good location, in the town.
owner was very helpful
Wonderful location within city walls of the old town, walking distance to city's sights. Helpful staff and lovely little kitchen for self-catering.
Bus from TGV station stops far from hotel, slightly far for walking with heavy luggage, but taxi to station (one way) was well worth the €20.
Pproximity to centre of town was very convenient. Kitchen was adequate
Incredibly cramped and stuffy. Shower leaked. Nowhere to relax at all. Cabin fever after 9 days
no mugs or cups in the kitchen
When we saw the room and the man at the reception saw our faces, he called the owner and she kindly changed our reservation for one night.
It was a waste of money. Don't offer it to your clients.
Located nicely in Avignon city center
The hotel contacted us 10 minutes after check-out; which was not discussed at check-in. We were right outside the hotel at the cafe. They took the liberty to pack up our stuff and place it in the lobby, and then charge us for the extra night. I have a problem with the fact that they charged us after packing us up. You get one or the other not both. Either you charge us, and let us stay, or you do what you did, but not both ways.
location is good,
no air conditioner in such a hot summer! I cannot sleep for the whole night! and the stuff cannot speak English at all!
The staff is very helpful and the house is wonderful and clean and you can cook by yourself
all are not good with this price, bed is not comfortable, bathroom & WC is not good, no air condition, the fan noise makes people crazy.
For 135 Euro a night for a family of four (2 adults, 2 teeanagers), I think it offers a good value for the money. It’s just a basic apartment. If you expect the Marriott, then you will certainly be disappointed. But if you are independent budget travelers, and just want a low cost, basic place to stay then this is acceptable. Wifi was available and free. There’s a bedroom with a double bed, and a double sofa in the living room. Our room has full kitchen, but we never used it since there are many reasonable places to eat within walking distance. The check-in was fast. The receptionist was a person living in a room downstairs, and spoke little English, but he tried. I used my Iphone translator app and was able to communicate fine
The apartment could be difficult to find; it took me 10 minutes to locate it once I am on the right street, and I am an experienced traveler. There is no elevator, our room was in the 4th floor, and we had to carry by luggage upstairs ourselves. But we are all in good shape, and had no issues. The apartment is next to a busy café, and it could get loud at night. The shower doesn’t have a door, but just a curtain. This is not going to be the right place for older people or family with young children. However, for adults or family with teenagers looking for a no-frill place to stay, it will serve the purpose and saves money.I would recommend that you arrive before dark, else you will have problems finding the place. It’s next to a Carrefour supermarket and a Wok-to-Box & Cuban café, so use them to help locate.
