Very friendly and helpful reception staff - even helping manoeuvring in the tortuous car park! Quiet location, spacious accommodation close to the beautiful old city centre.

The hotel had a friendly staff and was in a good location.

Hot water did not work when we first arrived.

Difficult access to some rooms, requiring walking up awkward stairs. Severe lack of suitable cupboard space within rooms and shortage of dedicated space for suitcases. Unattractive dining room. Inadequate comfortable seating within rooms.

Great boutique hotel, wonderful owners, made all reservations to wineries, restaurants, parked our car, large contemporary rooms, great location

Relaxed and good breakfast

La Maison Bord'eaux was a funky, modern design hotel that my husband and I enjoyed while we explored the wine regions of the area. The owner/manager and his wife were extremely helpful and friendly. The bathroom was clean and very modern and we found everything we needed. The courtyard area is very lovely and the restaurant where we ate our breakfast was sleek in it's design.

Though the owner and his wife were very nice, there were two other staff members with whom we interacted and we didn't really find the same warmth. We also had to move our rooms while we were there and while we didn't mind, the first room was large, but not as comfortable as the second room we moved to. The hotel is located a bit far from the city center, a fifteen minute walk, which was fine because we enjoyed the exercise, but it is a bit outside of the area which has the most liveliness.

The location is great - walking distance to the old town, but tucked away in its own courtyard. Incredibly friendly staff. Great simple breakfast - amazing bread and conserves.

Great staff and nice, boutique type of hotel.

The hosts (especially the male) were extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel is a boutique one that has been sensitively refurbished. It is in the old quarter of the city and has history attached to it. The only draw back is that it is some distance from the centre of the city and the main shopping area (20 mins walk)

Well located, charming courtyard, very fine breakfast, excellent wine, perfect host. The remains of a small park and Roman amphitheater kitty-corner across the street added interest.

Friendly staff, good room standard, modern decoration, small shops nearby for daily necessity, quiet neighbourhood,10 walks to the busy city centre.

Central location for Bordeaux easy walking distances and secure. Quiet area . Upgraded room was a delight with lots of nice touches . Breakfast was expensive but good. Hosts were charming.
