It was an excellent location to explore the villages in the area including Roussillon. Please note however, that it is not situated in any town, but in a lovely forested area near many beautiful villages.

The old property was, we think, a farmhouse.
The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

A few comments we read indicated some sort of weird vibe from this town, which made us second-guess our decision to visit and stay in the area. But we are so glad we didn't change our plans - we didn't feel that way at all. We loved Roussillon. The shops and the restaurants were great, most with balconies over the cliffs and very good, reasonably priced meals. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Roussillon is a beautiful little old village on a hilltop with magnificent views. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants. There is a public car park quite near the centre which is not expensive and free on a Sunday.

Very picturesque & clean, with wonderful views of the cliffs & the
surrounding area & the entire town smelled great! Terrific place for
walking (if you like uphill climbs!); not so great for cars (not unexpected) but most car traffic observes safety rules. The Thursday market was full of beautiful, fresh foods as well as lots of things you'd actually like to buy! Perfect spot in Provence!
Very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Parking was free and conveniently close.
The owner went out of his way to help us with a range of things and maintained a high standard of service that was also reflected at the restaurant. The chef presented delicious meals and the service was excellent.
Great swimming pool in garden setting.
We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it. Although we didn't need it, it may be useful to note that our room on the ground floor was well equipped for people with disabilities.
Pool was very clean and inviting after hot days touring the Luberon. The owners were lovely and very helpful. They explained the history of the guesthouse of 9 rooms, that it was built in the 70s as the original hotel for Roussillon and the owners have spent last 9 yrs updating it. Every room feels private by way of its situation at an angle from the others, quite unique. It feels very calm and peaceful in the country but still a short drive to Rousillon and Gordes. The breakfast was cooked to order and substantial.
This is a great bed-and-breakfast (not a hotel!) with a friendly host. The room has a lot of charm and is very quiet. Bath tub and sink are inside the room whereas the toilet is outside (but you do not share it with anyone). The highlight was the excellent breakfast in the beautiful garden, which was the main reason why we had booked this room in the first place. Of course, this old country house does not have an AC, but the stone architecture kept the heat out and a fan helped us sleep at night.
Wonderful small villa in Provence region. There was a really nice terrace adjoining living room and also a little backyard with a jacuzzi (that we used and listened to some beautiful acoustic guitar playing from the neighbors). Very clean and well organized. Excellent value and I would totally recommend to stay here as a base to explore the lovely Provence towns and villages further.
Eric and Paola were incredible hosts! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures, and the rooms were perfect. It was our first time in the south of France and Eric/Paola were always helpful with recommendations and helped us have a 10/10 experience on our trip. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area look no further.
really nice B&B in the middle of Provence, in a quiet and relaxing enviroment. the rooms are extremerly confortable and clean. warm welcome and good home made breakfast near the pool. we had an upgrade to a bigger flat with 2 separate rooms free from extracharge. Really greatful for that!
Lovely, spacious apartment in Roussillon. The owner has thought of every detail and the apartment was super clean and comfortable. Marjolene was so welcoming and warmly hospitable. She recommended things to see and even made restaurant reservations for us! Highly recommend!
We had a warm welcome with Marjolene. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a small balcony with a nice view over Roussillon and beyond, where breakfast was served - the bread and pastries were particularly delicious. Perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area.
Great view and location. Clean, spacious room and washroom. Breakfasts were incredible. Staff very professional, friendly and helpful. And the “piece de resistance “ was the outdoor pool which was very refreshing after a day of exploring Roussillon.
The breakfast was very good. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. It's stunning at night with the lighted globes in the trees and on the ground. Loved that the hotel is a ten-minute walk to Rousillon center.
The place has an excellent location, beautifully decorated, impecable cleaning but all and above Philippe the owner is a person that enjoys having people in his hotel and makes everybody feels great
Everything! 10 minute walk into Roussillon, a village of natural and exceptional beauty with its ochre mountains. The facilities were first class, the accommodations luxurious! An incredible find!
Location! View from the pool at the Roussillon village walking there just in 2 min! Very quiet and private! Pool superb! Very friendly, helpful hosts! Nice breakfast with good local products!
The hotel has the best view of the Ochre. The staff are very welcoming. Lisa in the reception was very helpful, always answering emails right away. Flora , the owner was also very helpful.
Exceptional location, welcoming hosts, great breakfast, nice swimming pool, peaceful, better than expected. Very strongly recommended for couples visiting Provence.
