The staff was absolutely wonderful and the rooms were very warm and inviting. The decoration was quite unique. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was amazing! Our shower head was not attached to the wall in any way so you could only have the water come above your head if you held it up with one hand. We were also on the third floor which was very cute (with the slanted roof) but if you are very tall, it makes it hard to take a shower in the bathroom.

Excellent location, very amiable owner chef and family.. The formule menus were exceptional. The hotel is situated in one of Colmar's most historic houses. We stayed in Colmar on our way to Switzerland and it was an unexpected highlight of our trip.

The dinners were excellent. Beautifully cooked and well presented. The breakfasts were disappointing and it was waitress service for a continental breakfast. We were handed juice, yogurt - not chosen and a small metal bowl of fruit (the bowl was very old and scratched!). It was not good value for money.

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Colmar. The courtyard is a great place to start off your day with pain au chocolat and coffee or tea. Free and secure parking is an absolute bonus.

The outside of the building was beautiful, and the location was very good. The owners were very nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff wasn't always around (had to wait ages to check in and I don't think they were ever at the front desk when I walked by).

Great building and location. Nice room (mine was a standard room) and pleasant staff. Good restaurant. Parking availability a big plus for a city centre hotel in Colmar. This was more a stop over on my return from Provence, but I would definitely like to return. Staff sometimes seem a bit stretched covering both restaurant and reception.

Lovely hotel in great position for all sightseeing and amenities. Very friendly staff. rooms full of character and very clean. Breakfast basic, should have more variety of pastries and also cold cereals should be on the menu. But a lovely stay and wouild recommend with no hesitation.

Wonderful historic building with a great reputation Rooms very small, with street view, therefore noisy. Beds uncomfortable. Room without distinction, but expensive.

From the warm and instructive welcome by one of the owners on our arrival to the brilliant position from which to explore Colmar on foot, this is a hotel that I will have to get back to one day. Only about 6.50 euros from the railway station and you travel back 400 years, but with all the comforts of the modern age.

The historical setting and location did not dissapoint and the parking was easily accessable and free. The breakfast is very average and the restaurant is overprized and the food unimpressive. Not what you expect after reading all the positive comments here. Both hotel and restaurant are understaffed. The owners wear multiple hats, are overstressed and are unable to address problems when they aris

An excellent hotel in the centre of a very pleasant city Well appointed room and luxury bathroom. Waitress service at breakfast which is unusual. we had an excellent meal in the restaurant but it was quite expensive at a total of 170 Euros for 2 however that did include 2 cocktails and 2 half bottles of wine. Parking spaces are limited but it didn't appear to be a problem.

“Friendly, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious, imaginatively decorated and well appointed . The hotel is perfectly situated at one end of the recommended medieaval city walk. The breakfast, which was included in our tarriff, was excellent and plentiful and the seating very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - in fact one of them kindly recommended local restaurants to us and then booked them for us when we had made our choice” Rosemary, Kingston Upon Thames |
