The room was clean and updated. It was small, but that was expected (and in line with the value). The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area was quiet - good for sleeping. The staff were friendly and helpful - and always available. We would definitely stay here again.
The WiFi is overwhelmed by all the guest demands, but they are working to address that.
Rooms were very tidy and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, walking distance to the Metro and a number of Paris landmarks. Lot's of cafes to get your morning cafe.
Its small! But if you're there to see the city and not sleep in a hotel room, it's perfect.
Thanks to the staff there!
Bright colors, clean and updated looking, neat wallpaper. Great location a couple blocks (five minutes?) from the metro Nice view of the neighborhood from our 4th floor window Great water pressure from the rainfall showerhead (beware the spray one though...) The front desk is manned 24/7 and everyone working there was super friendly/helpful They keep your room keys behind the desk when you leave each day, so you don't need to lug them around with you. The main stairwell's carpet is pretty neato -- like unicorn-vomit, but in a tasteful manner.
The shower entrance was very narrow/short, and the spray showerhead's water pressure was so high it hurt the skin (use the rainfall showerhead, it was great) The elevator was suitable for: 2 midgets OR 1 normal person with a small carryon luggage OR 2/3 of a fat person. The elevator also let off in between floors, so if you had heavy luggage you still needed to lug it up some steps (after awkwardly getting out of the tiny elevator) to get to your room. The stairwell can be dizzying then walking down multiple floors due to the spiral + rainbow effect.
Close to metro station. Not many tourists - a slice of Paris life. Nice staff. Clean surrounds. Great cafes near.
Poor wifi from rooms
Hotel in good location with welcoming, friendly staff. We were a group of 6 in 2 rooms, both very clean. Excellent shower over bath. Very good breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.
Only thing was some street noise, but hard to avoid in a central location.
By the river
-Seperated(sharing) bathroom is super inconvenient -No TV, no hair dryer..
wonderful location, quiet and friendly, a number of bakeries, cheese shops, cafes. Staff extremely helpful, room impeccably clean. I would never go elsewhere in Paris. Ask for a room away from the steet
can get somewhat hot in the summer
This hotel is very chic and quirky and off the tourist track so that you feel like you're having a genuine taste of French life in Paris. The bedrooms are spotless but small as is usually the case in Paris. Comfortable bed with lovely linen. The nearby main street has an excellent range of places to eat and the Pernety underground and Montparnasse Railway Station are very close. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best restaurant we found in Paris was just a few blocks away...La Cantine du Troquet.
Rooms were small but this is usual for hotels in paris.
The rooms are small but fine, good beds, decent shower. Breakfast buffet is above standard (different types of cheese and meet, yoghurt, Nespresso coffee). Free parking in the street is also a plus.
We were in Paris during "la canicule" (= temperatures above 35°).There was no air conditioning and fortunately we could sleep with the window open.
Very clean and well kept. Well decorated Comfortable rooms
Wifi had issues connecting on occasion due to too many people online.
The room, although very small, was very cute and cozy. The bathroom was also very small, but it was clean and the bath was good. Breakfast was very good.
Nice staff and all speak good English! Also the breakfast very good.....Hope van come again in my next trip....
We really enjoyed staying here, the rooms are small, but very modern and clean. The staff is so helpful and friendly. It's a really quiet district, lots of restaurants and bakeries etc. and very close to the metro station "Pernety". We would absolutely come back again to this place.
no german or english TVchannels and no safe
Very helpful friendly staff, clean comfortable hotel in good location.
We had very comfortable nights during our stay there! Staff are very helpful - they assisted us on booking dinner cruise reservations.
The toilet is very near to the wall, so your knee will touch the wall when you sit. Wifi didn't reach our room. Breakfast was a little pricey. They are advertised with laundry service, but actually, the automatic laundry is about a block away, and you have to figure out how to use it.
Staff, very clean
Extremely small toilet
Good standard for the money
Wifi appalling / didn't work Some of the staff extremely rude
Clean, nice and confortable.
Loved the location and the quirky nature of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast on offer.
The lift and the toilet in our room were tiny. Actually impossible to close the door on the toilet when in use (your knees prevent it from closing). Not a deal breaker though given the positives.
Nice and clean hotel. Very nice and helpful staff.
Small rooms, though cosy.
Beautiful venue, excellent location, amazing staff
This was perfect for our one night stay with an early morning departure from gare Montparnasse (tip - entrance to tgv station hard to find for pedestrians you need to enter via the car park!). The hotel and room was spotless with lovely fresh white bed linens and comfy beds and pillows in a very quiet neighbourhood just round the corner from rue Raymond losserand with its lovely food shops. A popular bistro la cantine de troquet is just round the corner (tip - get there at 7 when it opens to secure a table - a queue quickly forms as no bookings are taken. Walking distance to foundation Henri Cartier bresson for photographic exhibitions and montparnasse cemetry for a stroll among graves of the famous. We loved this quartier which hitherto we did not know at all.
Vpn and VoIP are blocked over wifi
Fantastic staff, clean and modern hotel. Would definitely without a doubt stay here again!!
Wifi hard to get it some rooms.
Great staff, location fine, places to eat close to hotel, local stores with fruits, vegetable, cheese, meat, wine...everything what you need.
