The room was spacious and well finished. Breakfast was outstanding and the host was friendly and gave us tips on places to visit and eat at.

Two minor points would be the wi-fi signal was weak due to the fact we were on the top floor and no TV although didn't miss it.

Modern facilities a short walk from both parts of the city. Free parking right outside

Very good standard despite it is not a hotel. We arrived very late but the owner was very friendly. Great value.

The design and furnishings of the rooms throughout the building was lovely and different. Breakfast was well presented and again some interesting items.

Our room overlooked the main street, so at night it was noisy. Some rooms overlook the courtyard and would be better. There was no servicing of our room in 3 days. When we arrived at the time given we were unable to gain access; I had to telephone the owner. After a long journey and needing to use a public phone this wasnt a good start.

The location is ideal for visiting the 'new' city and the ancient city.

Whilst the room we were allocated was very spacious it would have just added that extra level with at least the addition of a facility to make a tea or coffee. The breakfast could be improved with greater variety rather than the same every day.

A very charming rustic B&B with a lovely outdoor area.. The hosts were excellent.

Surprising and delightful. Much better on the inside than the street view suggests. Great design ideas, superb breakfasts! Very helpful and friendly. The small number of guests meant we could meet and talk.

Church clocks! Personally would like to be able to make tea and coffee at any time. Slamming front door

Too overpriced and staff were often absent, kitchen provided, but cleaning supplies and basics like salt or pepper were not there. Would have been nice if clean towels were supplied and used ones were taken away,

I liked the location of the 'hotel' (it's not strictly speaking a hotel more a b & b) as it's only 10 mins walk away (uphill !) to the old town of Carcassonne. The 2 rooms our party stayed in were surprisingly large we good size bathromms including baths.

Note, they don't accept credit cards

The room was absolutely beautiful and the hostess was incredibly accommodating. The place smelled wonderfully of sage when you walked in. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Carcasonne. The location was perfect!

The cash only is the only thing I would comment on. Not a big inconvenience though.

A beautiful building, contemporary but traditional French decor located in a quiet locatioin, with a charming rear spacious courtyard/garden. A delicious home prepared breakfast. We would recommend this chambre d'hote without hesitation.

We loved the decor and the location best. It was very much French country with big rooms, good wifi, a great view of the fortress.

A minor item, the breakfast lady seemed a little rude and didn't speak hardly any English. She hovered over us while we ate and I felt a little stressed out by that. It wasn't that bad but leaving us some privacy would have been good.

Very pleasant stay here...very large and nicely decorated room....good location and a very good breakfast with lots of home cooked cakes and other tasty treats! Easy car parking nearby.

This is a beautiful and peaceful haven in a charming street. The accomodation is classy and wel thought out with great style and attenion to detail. This is without doubt a superb place to stay

Proximity to sights, access to transportation, sizeable room, excellent breakfast, and hosts.

No internet access. Hate to say it but access even during vacation is needed.

Love it. Small family place where you can stay near the Castle of Carcassone. Walking distance. Very sympathetic owners and good French breakfast.

Roomy and full of character.

The room was very large and inviting. Beautiful view of the courtyard. Outstanding location in relation to the historic centre. Great little pizza place right next door that serves great pizza and coffee.

Facilities were a bit limited. No kettle or hairdryer. It could be very cold during winter.
