La posizione e l'assoluta riservatezza,assenza di rumori di disturbo letto comodissimo

Avrei preferito trovare un bagno più in linea con il livello del'albergo,sarebbe auspicabile considerata l'ubicazione di alcune camera come la nostra avere il servizio di caffè in camera.

Centralissimo proprio vicino la porta di ingresso della citta fortificata. Personale gentile. Camera confortevole.

La centralità della struttura si paga. Il famosissimo ristorante è carino e il cibo buono, ma niente di particolare e comunque caro. Non lo scosiglio, ma vi avverto

L'attenzione del personale,carini e servizievoli,la sua posizione appena all'inizio del paese,la disponibilità del parcheggio vicino all'albergo,il silenzio.

Il ristorante,caro,qualsiasi e "prendiingiro"con piatti che sembrano una cosa e sono un'altra,vedi la famosa omelette o il piatto di pesce crudo...ambedue da evitare,specialmente al prezzo di 90 e!!!

La posizione, che è sicuramente la miglior attrattiva dell'albergo. E' infatti, situato proprio all'ingresso del Monte, e gode di una situazione ottimale

La trascuratezza complessiva che traspare già dall'ingresso. Un hotel in una simile posizione, con la conseguente possibilità di praticare prezzi considerevoli, dovrebbe curare meglio gli ambienti, a cominciare dalla reception. Invece, si respira fin da lì un'aria di trasandato e trascurato: sembra che ci si accontenti di sfruttare la posizione, senza curare gli altri aspetti

Could book in advance, size of room and bathtub. Convenience being on island.

The door on the corridor, right next to our room, slammed several times during the night and woke us. There should be some sort of mechanism applied that would keep it from slamming.

Location, local Norman cuisine, scenery.

Very unique location. Lovely decor in the room and very quiet, restful stay (perfect after time in Paris).

An elevator would be a blessing--so many steps, but guess that is the way it has to be due to location.

It was a very nice choice for a hotel because we could walk around at night when the tourists were not there. The small streets and so many tourists make seeing the grounds during the day a little more hectic. If you have a lot of luggage, you may consider reorganizing your things into one bag that you need for the day since it would not be adviseable to drag all your luggage for such a long distance. It was nice that Poulard was the first hotel upon entering the grounds of Mont St Michel. Very interesting to look at all of the people that have stayed at this hotel. Try the omlette.

Hotel location on Mount St. Michel is very good. This is the first hotel once you enter the "city" gates from the public parking area below. After the daytime crowds leave, it is very pleasant to walk through the streets or along the walls of the Mount and not have a long trek back to your hotel.

If you have never been to Mount St. Michel before, be advised that you park in a public lot adjacent to the Mount and the causeway, but still a bit of a trek up to the "city" gate and the hotel. Our room was in a separate building behind the main hotel, another 83 steps up from the front desk to our room. There is no elevator. So, you might want to plan on bringing just the minimum you need for your stay at La Mère Poulard, plus any valuable items. This is not a quite hotel. There is a well-used pedestrian stairway adjacent to the hotel, and even late at night you will hear the (often loud) conversations of other tourists.

The location is superb.

The room was hot and we were unable to sleep with the window open.

We liked that it was the first hotel inside the city gates, so it was really easy to find. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel and the room. The hotel ground floor had an open kitchen area where they cook the "famous omelettes" in front of a great fire, and is fun to see. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs.

We read other complaints, before booking, about the stairs and lack of help to carry luggage. Since we were only staying one night, we planned ahead and packed our things in backpacks, which worked perfectly. I thought the winding stairs were charming and added to the experience for me.
