The room, staff, location - everything!
Room small but good for paris No tea/coffee facilities in room
The hotel is in a fantastic location - St Germain is a lovely part of Paris. There are two metro stations within a two minute walk of the hotel, which make it incredibly easy to get around the city. For walking to key sights, the hotel is also perfectly situated. The hotel room itself was full of character and the staff were fantastic every day.
The fact I had to leave. It really was a perfect hotel for a short break - thank you.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful especially as we don't speak any French. Highly recommended. Great location
The woman at the front desk during the day seemed attentive and helpful. A gentleman tried to explain why our room was so warm - hot.
I had requested a quiet room in the back. We were given a room across from the elevator at the front of the hotel above a late night restaurant where people visited til late at night. The glass in the bathroom was not clean. Breakfast yogurt warm.

We were so well taken care off. Felt as if I was home. The staff is just wonderful and genuine .
Hotel La Perle is located just next to Boulevard St. Germain, within few minutes walk from many major attractions. There are lots of restaurants and bars around. Our room was spacious (especially compared to our Paris hotels) and super clean, with all amenities. The staff was very friendly. All in all, highly recommended.
Welcoming staff who were friendly, helpful throughout. Whether it was directions, somewhere to eat or just chatting at the desk - they were great.
There was nothing we didn't like. There is evening noise for the bars but it was not intrusive and the street is buzzing with welcoming bars and bistros.
The hotel is close to 3 Metro stations, and accessible directly from Gare du Nord on line 4. An excellent location for the sights of Paris. The staff are very friendly and the place is a real home-from-home.
We stayed at La Perle for 3 nights for part of our honeymoon. After a lot of research and many good recommendations from people we know, we found a good deal at Booking.com and took it, and we couldn't be more happy of our choice. Location is perfect, at the heart of saint german (best neighbourhood for sure), but still in a calm street and with a lot of good restaurants a few steps away. Employees were more than helpful (and friendly), and made this trip even more pleasant. The room was of good size and the common areas are very cozy. I did a lot of reaserch before booking and you really can't beat La Perle at this price point - if you are looking for something a little bit cheaper, I would say the overall experience is worth the extra bucks.
Beds, Nice modern but small bathroom with powerful shower!!
My first visit to Paris and loved the fact that the hotel is in the middle of St Germain - it had such a buzz! Everything was so easy to walk to from the hotel. Hotel staff very helpful. Our room was perfect! Can't wait for our next visit....
During the night it was very hot and even though temp was showing 16 and with the help of staff in the middle of the night couldn't get it cooler and later understood that it had been over ridden by the heating as we were now in November, even though a warm November. Couldn't have window open due to noise from bar outside to quite late. This wouldn't have been a problem if we could have worked the air con - but still loved the hotel and it's location - it was perfect!
Very small shower.
Friendly staff and hotel location
staff comfort cleanliness location
Very well located hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great restaurant recommendations and help navigating the beautiful St Germain du pre area. Warm and airy breakfast room. Much nicer elevator than other hotels in the area which is convenient when moving bags.
Room small with insufficient space to take much out of suitcase. Consider upgrading for stays beyond a few nights. On the whole, nothing we couldn't work around.
Bathroom Location "Look"
Breakfast n Bed ( Matras n small cover) Fake big bed(2)
My room, though small, was beautifully decorated. The hotel is surrounded by wonderful restaurants, cafes and bakeries as well as small specialty shops. I loved the bar and breakfast room that opened onto a garden.
One person working the desk was somewhat rude and stressed out as I was checking out.
I had a very comfortable beds, an upper quality bathroom and an excellent service. The hotel crew is devoted to help you. Despite the location, silent rooms very well (sound) insulated.
Hotel lobby and dining area are beautifully appointed and welcoming. Staff were warm, cordial, professional, well-groomed, and very helpful with taxis and restaurant recommendations. Bartender very cordial and engaging without trying to be too familiar. Beds very comfortable--two singles pushed together gave us plenty of room and more than a typical double bed. Excellent access to 5th and 6th arrondissement places of interest. Le petit dejeuner was excellent and plentiful, and it offered wide variety of items. Coffee excellent.
Ventilation was a bit lacking and the noise from the street outside the window made it impossible to open the window and still get sleep. WIFI was erratic and undependable--even the night manager could not get my i5 to work, even though my wife's i5 on same Verizon plan DID work.
The room was charming and comfortable. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. We needed to get a cab to the airport -- which at that time of day was tough -- and the woman at the desk didn't give up until she'd found someone for us.
the room was great for the price, very clean, renovated bath, great location. Teddy at the desk was very nice and very helpful.
position, breakfast, newness
a bit cramped
We were very happy with everything really, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The courtyard was a great asset too.
