Great service and great location.
the view was superb and the sunset spectacular from the balcony of a quaint hillside hotel that brought us back in time. All in all,a very memorable visit.
Luxury, hidden. Beautiful. Amazing service from all staff
I loved everything!
Fantastic location overlooking the bay without any traffic noise and very close to the vibrant centre of Nice's old city. Very good service and highly comfortable rooms and facilities. Very recommendable!
View, room was fantastic.
Pool closed early
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. We loved the roof top patio and outside dining area. The service was very good indeed, and the food first rate. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Can't wait to go back!
No negatives at all.
Everything! It was our second stay here and we shall definitely choose it again when we next return to Nice.
Lovely hotel in a perfect location; the staff are very good; first class breakfast ;comfortable beds.
Very quiet; nice views
Poor service - one towel for a double room w/2 people. Even the bottled water in the room had to be paid for in a room costing 450 Euros!
Very old & expensive ; staff not friendly
It was full of British people and was overpriced. The staff were mostly British too. Disappointing
The staff was very welcoming and informative. Location in Nice very good.
For the amount of money spent on one night's lodging, the room could have been nicer. Tiny balcony overlooking the pool which was filled with people at cocktail hour and it was noisy. The hotel is a convoluted space on top of an apartment building. It took 3 different elevators (located in odd places) to get to the rooftop hot tub. No services on the roof garden either, so bring your drinks with you - which are very expensive.
great welcoming staff. Beautiful bathroom.
The pool area was crowded. our balcony looked over the pool and it was also noisy. It takes several elevators not near each other to get around. The bar area and restaurant were small, with pricey wine offered.
Beautiful room with the best view in Nice
Breakfast layout average with little space to place things near breafast bar(s). Bar staff slow to offer service.
Nearly everything else! We stayed in seven hotels over 18 days with this being our last and what a disappointment! This is not a four star hotel. We were taken in by the photos but realisium is nothing close. I am amazed by the number of comments praising this hotel as it is badly in need of a refurb. The lifts are only capable of taking three people at once and are tiny, old and therefore a little disconcerting. The stairs are worse, dark, tatty, with four dirty dustbins storied on one landing and boxes of empties (bottles) stored on another which we had to squeeze past to get to/from our room. The pool is tiny and crowded with only a few sun beds. the upper terrace is not maned or maintained so if you wish to use the gym, sauna or this gruby area for sunbathing (as the pool is packed) then you will have to keep going two floors down to the bar to get drinks yourself. We paid for two 'Delux' rooms but both where of very poor quality. The 'free' wifi is as good as useless and I suspect this is because they want you to pay for the two faster services - It just seems they have forgotten how to trear their guests. One of our sons had a mini chocolate bar from the mini bar and we were charged €10 for the pleasure. Do not be sucked in this is a poor and at best, a two star hotel look else where. We loved all of the other hotels we stayed in and very, very rarely write bad reviews.
The hotel is in a great location near the port and the old town, built on the side of the castle. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, the room itself was quite small but very nicely decorated.
Nothing it was lovely!
first round was noisy, window looking at walls but clean... second time around was heaven...
Metres from the main promenade but no intrusion of noise
We booked a superior room with sea view, but what we got is a room with very-restricted sea view. Actually, I could see the sea between the roofs of other houses, but that was very disappointing. I think they should be honest for the information of the room, like some other hotels that provide proper room information such as partial sea view etc.
Location was perfect. Staff very helpful , especially Laura. Only complaint was that my friend could not get brewed decaf. Breakfast was a good value.
Location was great. Easy walking distance to the beach, old town, and the port. Literally next door to castle hill which made doing that walk/hike first thing in the morning (when the light on the water is best for pictures) super easy. Hotel facilities are good with a nice quiet pool and deck as well as a patio seating restaurant that has overall really good food. Had an exceptional fixed price three course menu there and a decent lunch. Sea view rooms are definitely a must. The hillside location/views right at the end of the promenade are awesome.
Overall the service at the hotel was good. The restaurant staff was great and the pool area was immaculately clean. The room turn up/down was solid. The reception staff could use improvement though. It's not that they were mean or rude, they just weren't very friendly either. Compared to other four star hotels we stayed at on our trip to France, this desk staff was unhelpful and dismissive.
Relatively expensive restaurant.
Location and rooms were serviced with excellence. Staff helpful with tour bookings.
