Score from 139 reviews Wonderful
This hotel is situated right in the center of Juan-les-Pins and minutes away from the beach. The train station is within walking distance, convenient if you want to make day trips to the many interesting sites in the area. On the street outside the hotel are chic boutiques and nice cafés, bars and restaurants, a lively and cool atmosphere. However, the double-glassed windows in the hotel rooms help very much if you wish some quiet. There is good air conditioning. The room, as well as all of the hotel, was very clean. The hotel has a personal and lovely design, a bit retro-inspired. Breakfast is on the terrace, a pleasant and quiet space. There is a good choice of bread and jam, fruit and home made cakes, well arranged and served. You can also use the terrace at other times. The hotel owner, Sylvie, is the nicest person and makes you feel very welcome. I highly recommend this hotel, a unique experience.
Interior design Breakfast Host
Parking Lack of convenience am store nearby Very central so little noisy for young children
Sylvie was so warm and welcoming. We appreciated her help and making breakfast on roofdeck. I loved the hotels decor and her husband's spin on decorating. He put lots if thought into all of it. Thank you! You were wonderful!
Great staff and the room was very clean and tidy. Very cost effecient.
A bit noisy as the hotel is smack in the middle of the city.
Great friendly and personal service and retro/modern fun atmosphere!
Excellent location and very accommodating and friendly staff.
Great location , I stayed 2 nights and loved this hotel. I know Juan Les Pins very well and this is a gem of a hotel . The hotel is immaculate and the owner Sylvie is very friendly with a real sense of pride of the hotel as she is the owner . I am looking forward to staying there again very soon .
Great location and superb atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and nice to be around.
The interior design of this guesthouse is excellent. Very thoughtful, and very stylish. Sylvie was a delightful lady who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast outside was beautiful too. Very nice room.
The bed was very firm which was not to either of our taste. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep very well because of this. There was also only one pillow each, which I know is a minor detail, but with such a firm mattress, it would have been more comfortable if we each had two good pillows.
This is an amazing hotel. It was the first hotel built in JLP and it had been restored keeping a lot of the original charm, but it also very modern and funky. The owners have done a lot of the work themselves and a very passionate. I would definitely recommend this place!!
I like the decoration, it's very special and stylish. The price is acceptable as well.
The reception lady is a bit wired, it seems she doesn't know how to make coversations (not because of the language)... Maybe the hotel should offer her communication skill training...
It was well located for food drink and shopping. Very clean
The room was small.
Hotel staff excellent, location great, price great for what you get in South of France. Perfect for just showering and sleeping.
Rooms are a bit small.
Decor in the building was cute/charming.
Rooms were tiny, bathrooms were tiny, it's on a major party street where you can hear loud thumping of techno until 3am. The proprietress is barely tolerant. She looked at me like I had 3 heads when I came with a large bag (3 week trip) and she had no elevator. She had no help so she leaves the hotel at 6 to go to the market which means she was MIA for me and another couple who arrived at 6:30. Tempting price but not worth it.
The staff were great, the bed was comfortable, and the recently renovated hotel had a nice mixture of new design elements and the old building. It was spotlessly clean. The hotel felt more like a home than a hotel.
Only sheets were provided for the bed, which was tricky balancing the air-con temp.
This hotel is highly recommendable. It has a really great atmosphere with a very slick design. It is located on a pedestrian street in the centre of Juan les pins and right by a small beach with crystal clear water. We stayed for four nights and walked across to the old town which was about 20 minutes away. This is buzzing in the afternoon/evening and has quainte architecture and a couple more beaches. We felt we were located in the perfect position however the old city was also a very cool spot to stay if we had more time.
Absolutely Loved this hotel, I've stayed at both the Juana and the Belles Rives this year in Juan Les Pins and La Pinede is now my favourite hotel.
The interior and decoration of the hotel is really great! Nice style and eye for detail. It is very clean and new. The breakfast outside on the terras was perfect. The owner was very friendly and helpfull!
Since the hotel is located in the citycentre be aware you could hear the people talking outside very well at night! Earplugs did the trick!
