This hotel was magnificent and the staff were warm, friendly and extremely professional. Beautifully furnished with stunning grounds, I would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

We liked everything: the welcome, the rooms, the courtesy of the owner and her staff, the petit dejeuner, and the willingness of everyone to communicate with us in French, despite our limitations. A very nice experience.

The Hostess was charming and freindly.The hotel was very well presented with very tasteful design and decor.The location was a good base for visiting the famous sites nearby and very convenient for the Autoroute.

It was very clean with friendly staff and had a wonderful bathroom. It is located on a very busy and noisy corner. As a result the room was very noisy even with the windows closed.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast in the conservatory was excellent and well worth the 11 euros. Although they do not have a restaurant they served a light evening meal by arrangement which was excellent. We will certainly use again.

The tranquility, design and comfort of the hotel and pleasant staff. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. The breakfast was very good. The hotel also had adequate parking facilities plus free WiFi which was very convenient. I would certainly not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.

The room (Marguerite) was spacious and impeccably clean. Very well decorated and the bed linen were luxurious. A truly great place to stay at when going to or from the Mont Saint Michel, away (20 minutes by car from the hordes of people and in a beautiful setting. Buffet breakfast at 11 Euros per person was a steal!

This is a superb hotel that offers excellent value for money. The rooms are very cosy and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is situated with an excellent and stunning view on the historical city of Avranches, which is only a 15-minute walk away. The cosy garden with both typical French furniture as well as lounge chairs is excellent to relax after a busy day of visiting the tourist attractions in the area. This hotel offers an excellent base for visiting Mount-Saint-Michel: it is only a 20 minute drive away and away from the tourist area. I can fully recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel, beautiful seting, artfully and tastefully decorated, beautiful, large rooms and bathrooms, a real pleasure. It has a beautiful garden and the most helpful and nicest owners and staff. We were sorry we did not stay longer.

Beautiful room and bathroom, very good decor and taste everywhere in the hotel and garden. Nice salon with a bar for chatting with friends. Pleasant breakfast in the winter garden. The main streets are quite near and there is plenty of traffic, so it was definetly loud when having the windows open because we had the room on the streets side. That is the only negative aspect we can report.

Beautiful, well maintained building and grounds. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is not particularly convenient to major attractions like St. Malo, Mt. St. Michele, Bayeaux Tapestry or D-Day beaches, but was a convenient one night stop for us between other destinations. This would be a good place to stay for a longer period and spend more time relaxing in the well landscaped garden, if your itinerary allowed. The room rate is a little expensive, but fair for the quality of the property. If you want a sea side or sea view restaurant, you need to drive quite a way .on very narrow roads. There are several restaurants in Avranches.

The homy feel and the attention by the hotel owner and her good advice. The free wifi which I believe should now be in every hotel. The design and the decoration of the hotel and it's big garden. The noise from the road near by can be distracting, but the rooms have sound proof windows.

People were nice and helpful, rooms interesting and comfortable, parking was plentiful and it was an easy trip to the ferry port. Breakfast provided by hotel was nice. It was painfully frustrating to find. The adjacent restaurant, thought relatively expensive, was decidedly an inferior place to eat dinner. (Don't know if hotel actually operates the restaurant.)

La Ramade is a beautiful small boutique hotel with large and comfortable rooms, a beautiful breakfast room and sitting area. Staff was very helpful and we wish we had choosen to stay their longer.

The lovely garden and the conservatory in which they served a lovely breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated with a very nice bathroom. La Ramade is convenient to major roadways which made traveling to Mont. St. Michel and Dinan in Brittany very easy. The staff were helpful re: dining options.

The hotel was beautiful and furnished with style and charm by a delightful owner and hostess. The room was spacious, light and comfortable and access to the garden and conservatory made this a gem of a hotel. A short, steep walk from the centre of the town, it was perfect.
