The Hotel was excellent overall. We had a magnificent dinner in the Gourmet restaurent; once of the best we`ve ever had. Whilst it was on the expensive side compared with our normal restaurant venues, it was worth it.

Nous sommes arrivés à 13 heures , l'hotel était fermé et il y avait un numéro de téléphone à appeler , ce que nous avons fait , on nous a donné le code et on nous a dit de prendre la clé de notre chambre derrière le comptoir ! Chambre moyenne avec un plafond en mauvais état . Nous sommes rentrés tard le soir et nous avons appris qu'à la suite des inondations (très fortes pluies effectivement cette nuit là ) il n'y avait plus de chauffage et plus d'eau chaude ! Même chose le lendemain matin , nous sommes donc partis après un petit déjeuner en self service et sans avoir pu nous laver ! Aucune réduction ne nous a été proposée au moment de payer ...

Nous avons aime l'accueil, le cadre, le parc, le balcon terrasse de notre chambre( vue sur parc), les employes, les hotes. Nous avons surtout apprecie la qualite exceptionelle du restaurant gastronomique, mais cependant trouve les vins un peu trop chers. le decor du restaurant est tres beau et tres elegant,etant refait a neuf. Les charmants proprietaires nous ont indique que de nouveaux travaux seront effectues prochainement, notamment le ravalement de la facade, et ensuite le relooking de toutes les chambres, que nous avons trouvees cheres etant donne leur desuetude et apparamment nous n'avons pas beneficie de tariffs basse saison a la mi-Mars. Quand Le Domaine sera fini, ce qui n'est pas moindre tache, cela sera un endroit incontournable, facile d'acces et memorable. Nous souhaitons bonne chance aux proprietaires.

Cet hotel offre de belles prestations dans un environnement calme à proximité de la ville de Rennes. La petite ville de Liffré, sa forêt et sa campagne sont fort appréciables.

Je recommanderai cet établissement sans arrière pensée. Au niveau de l'accueil, la chambre, le petit déjeuner tout est parfait. Au calme. Adresse à conserver précieusement d'autant plus que le prix est très attractif

Lovely staff and hotel but nothing at all in the surrounding area so reliant on own transport which isn't ideal. But nice as an overnight stop if you have your own supplies. Just lack of options within and around
