La Réserve is a superb Hotel/Restaurant set in 8 acres of private parkland with a small lake. It is ideally located for all the region has to offer, being right in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan vineyards (Grave wine appellation) yet only 15 min from Bordeaux’s vibrant city centre, 45 min from the pristine Atlantic beaches and the Arcachon bassin, 5 min from Mérignac international airport and 3 min from the major routes to Paris, Toulouse, the Pays-Basque and Spain.
22 spacious and air-conditioned rooms, renowned gourmet restaurant, outside swimming pool, outside eating terraces.

The hotel and restaurant La Réserve was founded in1949, classified as a Relais et Chateaux until 1955, and many times winner of Michelin stars, this traditional establishment is an icon in the Bordeaux region. Completely renovated in 2006 you will enjoy the vestige of traditional france combined with modern services and dynamique staff.

Food & beverage

The locally renowned gourmet restaurant is an absolute highlight. The new manager and chef, Jerome Hérauld, is the 2004 winner of the "France’s best chef" award. In his kitchens, regional specialties are prepared with fresh produce straight from local markets, farms and the nearby Atlantic. A meal here is an absolute "must" for any stay in Bordeaux.

The hotel offers three types of rooms, classical, prestigious and a suite. All the rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. They all have private en-suite bathrooms with baths and separated toilettes. All completly renovated in 2006 they are tastfully decorated and offer calme and confort. Our suite and Prestige rooms have private balconies overlooking the park, swimming pool or lake.

In the heart of the Passec Léognan wine appellation we are perfectly located for all the region has to offer. Only 2km from the Chateaux Haut Brion and Pape Clement and from the “route des Chateaux” where in a single journey you can visit the most prestigious Chateaux like Margaux, Mouton Rothschild and d’Yquem. Bordeaux vibrant city centre is 7km away, Saint Emilion 50km. We are 45km from the pristine Atlantic beaches and the “basin d’Arcachon» where you can climb Europe’s largest sand dune and savour local oysters. The rolling valleys of the Dordogne as well as the immense forests of Les Landes are also 40 minuets away
