Very large rooms for 4 and especially for 3 people - 2 rooms and small kitchen/anteroom 40 square meters. Helpfully staff. Peace and quite of the inner yard for all sides of the residence. Air conditioning are really necessary in the south side rooms. Now it is not so expansive to equip the each room personal air conditioner. We are get only 2 or 3 hot days but I do not envy people who will live there in July and August. And it's necessary to repair running water for toilet in room 143 - it is screaming and yelling after every use, a little annoying at the night. I did like the room.I thought the staff were very nice and given my lack of the french language they were excellent at accommodating this.

i thought that the curtains were dirty in the room.I would have like to have a drink when getting back to hotel at night (10.00 pm) and the bar was closed - could be open to 11pm at night perhaps

Our room was in a very poor condition, paint peeling, stained carpets, falling apart bathroom.

There was very little not to like - the staff were friendly and helpful, the decor was attractive and the location was very convenient. the only problem was that it was difficult to find when driving as the streets in La Rochelle are difficult to negotiate.

I tripped on the torn stair carpet between ground and first floor, no injury sustained. double bed in room very old and uncomfortable. Due to family problems at home we had to leave a day early but it would have been nice to only have to pay a percentage of the final night as this could have been let again.

Clean and comfortable; large suite with kitchen for 4 people at an excellent price for the location. Not right at the harbour of La Rochelle but in the old part and very close to the harbour. Perfect for what we needed.

Quite dated and the pool was not very inviting - small and old. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, but then we didn't pay for one either.

the kitchenette in the apratment was little more than a fride and a coffee maker, not suitable for cooking - space in the underground carpark was very restricted and quite difficult to get in and out on a daily basis

Located near the shops of downtown La Rochelle. The staff is cordial and the first floor common areas are tastefully decorated.

The apartment (residence area of hotel) looked as if it was decorated by a college student who gathered miscellaneous pieces of furniture from the basements of his relatives. Knotty pine table and chairs, black contemporary lamp and wicker easy chairs. No sofa bed as advertised, just two twin beds in the living area. The vinyl drapes looked and felt like shower curtains and a section was missing so the living area could not be darkened at all. This hotel badly needs to invest in its rooms.

Staff were extremly helpful and friendly. Very quet hotel so great if you want a peaceful stay.

Walls are paper thin, you can hear a lot from the rooms on either side.
