When we came down to breakfast we were told that there was no space, so we'd have to wait 20 minutes. Several other couples were in the same position. Eventually we were given a table to share with two strangers. It was no great hardship, but I've never experienced that before at a hotel. It might have been helpful to have been advised the night before to avoid peak times. Breakfast, when we finally had it, was very nice.
Friendly staff. Spacious, stylish room considering the price. A small bar (drinks cabinet), but with a great choice of whisky. Staff made a real effort to accommodate our baby, with a travel cot ready in the room, and high chair and toys at breakfast. Peaceful location on a side street, but just a few minutes' walk to the harbour - perfect for a morning stroll to explore the town.
