Poor quality towels. Lack of milk for tea and coffee although we had a fridge

the host was really friendly and kind. Breakfast was some local foods and good quality.convenient to visit Monet's garden.

It was absolutely beautiful.

First, we were given a lovely welcome by Sylvie. The pot of tea on the table in the sun was just what we needed after travelling. Our room, in a small annexe across from the main house, was delightful. It was small, but OK for a short stay. The breakfast, which we had in the main house, was good, and we couldn't have been looked after more thoughtfully. The proximity of Giverny and Monet's Garden was great, allowing us to visit there first thing in the morning when the plants looked fresh and colourful in the early sun.

This is a real treasure and very inexpensive. Close to the Monet Garden and home. This is really a don't miss. And the gardens are wonderful.

I think would describe as a cross between a b&b and a Gite.We had 'Junior Suite' which consists of double bed, 2 easy chairs, cooking facilities and fridge set in small building in grounds of house. Had breakfast in main house which was plentiful and well presented continental style. House owner m Peker was always available to offer assistance and consistantly asked if everything was okay for us. House is in large garden with pool and so offers secure parking berhind large gates and wall. ** Note ** on my new Satvan has address as 'Chemin' (path) Du Jacobins not 'Rue' - which it used to be many years ago. Ignore Lat and Log Ref on Bookings.com which took me to village cemetery.

We had good visit and ideal for our visit to local sites including Monets Garden and House about 5 minutes drive away. We chose to eat in our room having had long day, but would need a car to visit any restaurants. So not ideal for those who do not want to drive.

The very friendly owner made us very welcome and was also very helpful. We stayed at La Roseraie in order to visit Monet's garden and the location was absolutely perfect. The premises are amazing and situated within a walled garden with a swimming pool.

No door between the sleeping area and the toilet.

We found both the map supplied by La Roseraie and the signs very confusing which made it very hard to find.

All good for us

Despite some trepidation from previous reviews Madame was charming and a delight. I liked the peacefulness of the location, the cleanliness and the spaciousness of the room. Breakfast was very good.

My travelling companions found their double bed was too small, soft for a couple where one is over 6 ft tall.

A warm welcome from the charming owner, who speaks good English. Very relaxed & relaxing, with a heated, covered pool. Very easy to make ourselves at home, as requested, even to the extent of playing with Flocon, the handsome, well-behaved dog. Comfortable with well-equipped kitchenette & a substantial continental breakfast. We shall certainly stay there again. Be warned - postpost on the Giverny road should read "1st right & 1st right again," not merely "1st right".

Very relaxing-enjoyable swim at the end of a day at Money's Garden. The owner was always friendly and helped as much as possible to make our stay a good one.Breakfast very good,with plenty of variety

We loved it. A delightful place In a beautiful location. Sylvie is very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was very big with a balcony and a kitchenette. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful with home made jams and locally made cheese. Excellent for a longer holiday as it has a pool. Highly recommended by us.

A beautiful spot, with lovely people! We had a fantastic afternoon by the pool!

We did not have a car so getting around is not easy. There are very few buses and taxis are quite expensive. If you book, go prepared with food!

A really nice hotel with an exceptionally nice and serviceminded Madame. Big calm garden with nice poolarea. Pastoral surroundings and easy to reach from for example Paris Charles de Gaulle.

House and garden were a pleasant location. Swimming pool was ok. Owner was very pleasant.

- sound proofing from upstairs was terrible. Anytime the plumbing was used it sounded like our room was being flooded. It woke us up a few times during the night - bathroom didn't have a door only a flimsy see through curtain, hence no privacy when using the toilet (yuk!) - only one small scratchy towel provided per person - no wardrobe only a few hooks on the wall - local gendarme patrol the junction outside the house (they hide behind trees), and will fine you at the smallest offence (we crawled over a stop sign and were fined E90) - There is nowhere local to eat for dinner

Not very comfortable - bed had plastic sheets - very unpleasant, towels were small and thin - they need to be replaced - it wouldn't cost a lot and would make the customers feel much better. Breakfast was poor - barely adequate. Potentially a good place to stay but cutting corners on comfort made it feel mean - we wouldn't go back.

It is not a hotel, but a "chambre d'hôtes", nevertheless, the information in booking about the roseraie is confusing. The price of the room is very expensive in relation of the quality of the services. The hostess is not friendly. She asked us to pay the room by cash, before the stay.

We chose La Roseraie primarily because of its proximity to Giverny, only 5 kms away. Our host, Sylvie, greeted us warmly and provided helpful information that made our trip more enjoyable. Our room was in a small cottage close to the main house and was very private. It was comfortably decorated and had a thoroughly modern bathroom. All in all, La Roseraie represents an excellent value for anyone wanting to visit the Monet gardens, house and museum. Located nearby is another site, La Roche Guyon, which is well worth a visit for its excellent restaurant and beautiful location on the Seine.

Svært at finde. Der mangler skilte og GPS'en kendte ikke adressen. Dobbeltseng alt for lille. Dyrt. Morgenmad foregår ved et stort bord i husets køkken. Ville være rart at vide mår man bestiller.
