1) hotel is quite old but our 2 triple rooms were clean, decently and comfortably furnished with free Wi-Fi in all rooms 2) safe car park 3) hotel location is very central with shops/restaurants within 5 minutes walk 4) many castles in the Loire valley (we went to Amboise) within easy access 1) breakfast costed 7.5 Euros but very limited variety. Given the easy access to cafe and restaurants, in hindsight we could have eaten out 2) some parts of the hotel were under renovation - this did not cause us any trouble but some people may be put off by the state of common areas.

Location and the excellent meal in the restaurant, even if we were the only people there! Have stayed here in the past (under previous ownership) and we noted that standards have slipped....decor faded and cluttered corridors.

We had a very large room and bathroom with big airy windows(and a Massive Bed! Otherwise it was sparsely but adequately furnished. The parking was most convenient and the hotel was in a very good location for cafes and restaurants, the market and the 'plage'. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. Pillows were not good, and the hotel generally was a bit institutional in feel. But it was very good value!

La propreté des chambres bien spacieuses. L'accueil La proximité du centre Petit déjeuner convivial et bien fourni Prix du parking intérieur (6,5/nuit). L'hotel très grand est actuellement divisé en deux parties : l'une en rénovation, l'autre très bien rénové. L'hötelier devrait peut être expliqué les travaux en cours car il faut traverser la première partie en rénovation et cela donne quelques inquiètudes ;-) ;-)

Vriendelijk onthaal. Goede uitleg over in- en uitgaan. Lieve mensen. Kamer was uitstekend proper en alles liep gesmeerd uitgezonderd... Zie andere kolom... De receptie was dicht en pas na lange tijd besefte ik dat er gebeld moest worden. Dit staat niet duidelijk aangegeven. Ook het restaurant was gesloten ondanks het feit dat dit niet was aangegeven.

chambre spacieuse, literie très confortable établissement très bruyant la nuit, quand des clients rentrent tard, on entend tout et surtout les chasses d'eau, douches, bains, etc... puis impossible de régler le radiateur, trop chaud la nuit à mon gout ...

Nos chambres donnaient sur l'arrière de l'hôtel et étaient donc tres calmes. Elles etaient bien chauffées (Toussaint) et grandes. Les literies neuves étaient tres confortables. Petit hotel de campagne sans prétention a la décoration spartiate. Suffisant pour passer la nuit avant la visite du zoo de Beauval. L'Etablissement etant tres étendu, il faut laisser l'eau couler longtemps pour avoir de l'eau chaude. La moquette mériterait un rafraîchissement.

Situation intéressante près du Cher et à proximité de très nombreux châteaux. Très bon accueil. Propreté impeccable, literie large et neuve. Charme de l'ancien, la nouvelle propriétaire s'applique à en garder l'esprit tout en mettant les lieux aux normes actuelles. Dîner de très bonne qualité. Excellent rapport prix. A recommander !
