Beautiful stone building in beautiful surroundings
The restaurant and the food -- five star in our opinion. Both owner and his wife quite charming and accomodating.
Understaffed. The owner was run off his feet and did everything and looked absolutely k.......d. There was nobody to serve in the bar.and no blended whisky there either. Breakfast was poor in our view.
The food was super a must for anyone staying. The welcome wonderful and the cup of tea most appreciated after a hard few days house hunting. The quiet location was ideal for a restful night and breakfast was a delight. Sorry to have to leave, but looking forward to returning soon.
Deep in countryside Dinners highest quality Fabulous beaches nearby Andre a most accommodating host.
Nice big room well furnished
Bathroom was big but poorly lite, the tub type bath looked good but was inpractical as using the shower rose (part of the tapcluster) was very difficult as it easlily soaked the bathroom floor (Embarasing). At breakfast the coffe was a little stewed
Very comfortable. We liked the country feel; the peace and quiet. Food was delicious, atmosphere good.
We would have liked if more information was available for the local area.
Andre was very welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Lynne is a brilliant cook. Breakfast was laid out in the breakfast room and there was an excellent choice including cheeses, bread, croissants jams pastries with yoghurt and fruit. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a spacious family room which was quiet, clean. The lounge, breakfast area, restaurant and bar were beautifully decorated in keeping with the provincial French stone house.
Hard to find. The coordinates didn't match the location. We had to ring to get further instructions from the owners when we reached the town.
very quiet ,nice hikes in the area abundant breakfast
Lovely old cottage, nice hosts and very, very good food. Lynne is a great chef and dining in is a big must when staying here! Spacious room and Bathroom was very clean and all worked well.
Quiet location and excellent room overlooking the garden. I was made really welcome - only staying one night .Nothing was any trouble and I was provided with dinner and without booking at short notice - with full menu as well ! Hosts were on hand to help. A great place to stay while passing through the area.
Good Quiet location, excellent food steak and lamb casserole to die for. Break fast very nice.

food was average. the steak I ate was outstanding.
Lovely quirky building with lots of charm. Having cycled 67 miles to get there that day, we relaxed with a chilled glass of wine in a lovely private garden. Food was fantastic!
