Nice big room well furnished
Bathroom was big but poorly lite, the tub type bath looked good but was inpractical as using the shower rose (part of the tapcluster) was very difficult as it easlily soaked the bathroom floor (Embarasing). At breakfast the coffe was a little stewed
Andre was very welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Lynne is a brilliant cook. Breakfast was laid out in the breakfast room and there was an excellent choice including cheeses, bread, croissants jams pastries with yoghurt and fruit. Would definitely stay there again.
very quiet ,nice hikes in the area abundant breakfast
Lovely old cottage, nice hosts and very, very good food. Lynne is a great chef and dining in is a big must when staying here! Spacious room and Bathroom was very clean and all worked well.
Quiet location and excellent room overlooking the garden. I was made really welcome - only staying one night .Nothing was any trouble and I was provided with dinner and without booking at short notice - with full menu as well ! Hosts were on hand to help. A great place to stay while passing through the area.
Good Quiet location, excellent food steak and lamb casserole to die for. Break fast very nice.
nothing at all.
the quiet out of the way place. friendliness of Linn and Andrea. great place to hang out.
food was average. the steak I ate was outstanding.
Lovely quirky building with lots of charm. Having cycled 67 miles to get there that day, we relaxed with a chilled glass of wine in a lovely private garden. Food was fantastic!
Off the beaten track. Sophistication in a quiet location
good parking, good food.good room easy to find well sighn posted
Beautiful rural location. Quality of food was superb. Owners were very friendly.
The restaurant is pleasant and Andre, nice evening host. He has a good wine.
First wifi weak, non-existent in the room. Have the same type of room above the reception, but the room kept prospective Western clients ... Dog sleeping everywhere, on the sofas in the living room, which is why the house is a stench, which at first put him due to age of the building. Then surprise, the old furniture sob run mice and host is not at all surprised by this fact. Breakfast was OK for French, but host British prides itself on his restaurant sometime Michelin recommendedhas been completely deaf to my request to receive an egg for breakfast ... Zip code is not found on GPS. And bath, beautifully arranged, but the leakage problem. Reason to host ironic us that We must not use the tub pool and no shower. But standing water you have used it anyways
Even though we arrived late, we could still order diner à la carte that turned out to be of perfect taste and good presentation. The motors could be parked under a shed.
The Wifi was not available in our rooms (we were allowed to use the diner room and annexed reception hall however)
Friendly, helpful owner. Setting beautiful. Spacious rooms.Easy access to Cherbourg ferry.
Rooms could benefit from tea/coffee making facilities.

Very welcoming , very friendly, would go back again
The hotel is tucked away in the French countryside. The owner, his wife and daughter were very welcoming and we had a wonderful dinner. Plenty of choice on the menu and some fine wines also available.
