The owners / tenants were very nice.

The coffee and the chocolate come out of a water machine… definitely not very good. Yet not the worst I've ever drank either :)

This is an exceptionally well positioned, friendly, tidy and welcoming hotel and staff right in the middle of town and adjacent to the old city area. Parking is available opposite at significant discount and cheap. The only potential is is the small size of the rooms but as long as you are out and about this isn't and issue. The price and value otherwise are excellent as is the owner Natalie.

Nathalie + Pierre are lovely, very helpful + bubbly, friendly people who made our stay a pleasure ! It is in a fantastic position with easy access to fabulous restaurants, boulangeries + boutiques. The bus service is fantastic + Nice is only 50mins away and only costs 1 euro !!

The rooms are very basic, no frills, but very clean + you get what you pay for.

La Victoire is in a great location. It was close to everything in Vence. It was an easy stroll to great restaurants at night, We loved looking out our window on to the square below and watching the local people setting up the market and going about their everyday business.Nathalie was a wonderful warm and friendly owner who made our stay in Vence so special.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were driven to and from the airport and also to several points of interest. The hotel is right outside the old city walls and easy to get around.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay a through pleasure.The parking arrangements for a hotel in the middle of the town were excellent.Position by the way is superb right next to the old town.Would certainly visit again.

Room was pretty small

The staff tried to be very helpful. There were old town restaurants nearby.

The room was in poor condition. There was no bath plug. The air conditioner was noisy, and didn't adjust properly, the heated towel rails didn't heat up. The lift didn't go to the ground floor. The nearest car park was extremely narrow. It didn't seem to be good value for money.

Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, good explications for things to do in Vence, for restaurants....

Excellent location, friendly and helpful managers, good sized bathroom and a small but perfectly formed bedroom with plentiful storage.

Nothing to dislike...no parking of their own but not surprising with their location right on the edge of this lovely medieval town.

Excellent location and VERY NICE staff. We enjoy every minute of our stay in Vence and St. Paul de Vence.

The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The room was very small and the bathroom uncomfortably so- the shower is tiny and we would have preferred to see a bigger shower area without perhaps the bidet. The bathroom needs to be re vamped - the colors, tiles etc are very outdated. There was no ice available for a much needed glass of wine...

Paule and Nathalie who run this hotel are very helpful and give a feeling that you are in good hands. To begin with they speak english fluently,and can explain about the city and its attraction. Moreover the hotel located 10 meters from the old town,and very close to restaurants and shops. We would defenetaly stay there again.

Fabulous location with super friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Breakfast was a bit ordinary - better options nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice medieval village in a beautiful soft mountain area.

One hour bus ride to Nice, and not many buses going there.

The hosts were great. Location was a surprise to be out of Nice but it ended up being fantastic.

I loved my stay. The hotel was cozy, and for the entire day, the sunlight would shine into my room and light up everything. It was very ethereal and so comforting to wake to. Nathalie was wonderful. She was so helpful and accommodating, it really made my trip a joy. I will definitely be returning!

Perfect location a stride away from the medieval city walls. The hotel is run by a lovely couple for whom nothing is too much trouble. Typical 2 star French hotel kept lovely and clean

The couple who own the hotel were both easy going and welcoming. Both spoke English and were helpful with suggestions as well as suggestions on places to see, etc. Our room, though small, was comfortable, clean and contained everything we needed. The hotel also provides discount tickets for the public parking area across the street.
