Lagrange City Résidence du Château    

This is a comfortable hotel with self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Montepellier. You need to know that you can drive or walk to the tram terminal about 10 minutes away on foot in order to get to the city centre. This is also where you need to go to get supplies. There is a magnificent shopping centre here.

It would be nice if there was a basic welcome pack in the kitchen. Tea, coffee, milk. Maybe a pack of biscuits.

The staff were helpful. The breakfast was suitable for purpose and relaxed. WiFi was available. Getting in to the place after-hours was easy

The distance from public transport. The views from the room was of no great interest

Outrageously expensive

Lack of evening dining facilities. No tea or coffee facilities in room.

The pool does not open until 10:00h. The location is in a mixed use area.

Conveniently placed for our needs near to family. It was also quiet and had the facilities - bath/shower and light cooking facilities and free WiFi -that we required.

During our 5 day stay there was no room servicing. It therefore lacked a "hotel" feel but I expect if asked something could be provided.We did not test this. In view of that it might be considered a little expensive. The place is fairly new - we stayed there a year ago when it was just opened - there is still a somewhat unfinished atmosphere.

Location was good

1. Stayed 5 nights and room was never cleaned or linen changed also had to seek assistance with ant insects . 2. They also had a security guard with a German Shepard dog that barked at everyone and frightened guests. 3. Parking was also very limited . 4.Storag space not good enough for 5 night stay

Rooms were modern, comfortable, decent size, good self catering facilities

A little bit out of the centre, to get in to town you need to walk along and cross a few busy roads for about 15mins to get to the nearest tram stop

It is in easy walking distance of the restaurants, bars, shops, ice-skating, bowling, aquarium etc and tram. The rooms are well equipped. The pool is peaceful. The chateau next door is beautiful. The hotel is Eco-friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable to stay with the family of 2 adults and 2 small kids using 1 dboule bed and 1 sofa-bed equipped in 2 separated rooms. Balcony with a dining table and chairs was nice to have meals.

Cost of car parking.

Value for money stay in a clean apartment with decent facilities.

Stay was spoiled by poor location and the hotel use of a huge guard dog that made walking to the pool a scary experience.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped with plenty of room.

It was close to hiway for our continued travels. For those wanting city activities it would not be good without a car. Kitchen was not used but we would have appreciated coffee in the room. Balcony view was relaxing and pretty. Decor was modern and comfortable. Parking was ample and free.

Wonderful staff resposne to any query and their willingness to address in English. Rooms spotless clean and very comfortable.

Maybe a stiff distance out of reach of the nearest shops -- particularly for evening meals. Have to walk for at least 1.5 kms. Before reaching trams services -- and these only open again at 06:00 in the mornings -- so reliant on very expensive taxi service to catch early morning train/flights. E.G. Euro 23=00 for single taxi trip at 05:00 to train station, Otherwise a choice always to be recommended.

A very friendly and helpful staff, good furniture and quite comfortable rooms. There is a lot of space in underground parking as well as free parking on the street.

A hotel is designed in a little strange way, this isn't actually a disadvantage because everyone has its own taste, but I suppose they should hire design and usability specialists.

Odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain(remontées d'égout ),et mauvaise odeur des serviettes de bain,

La piscine indisponible!

Etre autonome avec le confort hotel (bonne literie, baignoire, kitchinette) - de l'espace dans le studio et salle de bain - bonne formule pour une personne seule - l'importance des plantes (bambou) , de la nature aux alentours (vignes,, arbres), un peu exentré et proche du centre ville, fait une bouffée d'oxygène.- De plus pas de pb pour se garer, parking libre sur terre battue avec des arbres, pas de pb de places. Ces points sont importants à entretenir (donne de l'espace et des degres de liberté, rare dans les structures hotelieres où tout est confiné et compté) . c'est appreciable.

Un soucis independant de la structure hoteliere mais de la reception du signal telé (pb que l'on retrouve partout) - ce qui est dommage dans le systeme appart/hotel: l'eponge/liquide vaisselle ne soit pas fournit pour faire la vaisselle. Il y a le torchon, ça c'est genial.
