Beautiful expanded old farmhouse in the French countryside, about 3 miles from the city of Isle Sur La Sorge, 16 miles east of Avignon. Luxury antique furnishings and great pool. Very quiet and relaxing. Great base for exploring the Luberon region of Provence. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

What a lovely hotel! The hill-top setting was idyllic, and the grounds and hotel itself looked beautiful even during the torrential rain we suffered for most of the weekend. As I went for a morning stroll about the well-tended grounds, my partner took a dip in the large outdoor pool, much to the bemusement of the gardener and the resident cats! The hotel owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, speaking fluent English to aid(/save!) our conversation, and ordering local trusted taxis on our behalf. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to eat any evening meals in the gastronomic restaurant as we already had plans, but the two breakfasts we had were wonderful: everything you could think of! Our room had an en suite, with perhaps the best shower I’ve ever used in my life, with bath robes, hairdryer and lovely Occitane lotions and potions included. Highly recommended.

Whilst it was not a problem for us, the hotel does not (as far as I am aware) have any rooms with televisions, nor internet access. I also ordered a double room and was presented with a twin, but that was easily remedied by pushing the beds together. It is also quite out of the way and a little hard to find (according to the taxi driver who drove us from the airport)...but as we wanted a laid-back country retreat, none of these things mattered to us, and it perfectly suited our needs.

No me ha gustado que no tubiera ascensor y las habitaciones son en un 2º piso ademas el desayuno es muy pobre

Endroit tout a fait charmand décoration de gout, accueil sympathique, endroit calme cuisine de grande qualité l'absence de television dans la chambre apparait comme un luxe supplémentaire;;;au moins on ne profite pas du programme des voisins un endroit a recommander

No he pasado tanto calor en mi vida toda la noche sudando , antes de llagar a la puerta del hotel hay una zona de piedras que al bajar del coche no ves nada no hay ni una luz de cortesía para iluminar el camino, tampoco me gusto el desayuno lo encontré muy escaso y tuve que avisar el día anterior a que hora iríamos a desayunar que después de la noche pasada de calor casi no hubiera desayunado , tampoco hay facilidades arquitectónicas, hay muchas escaleras les pedí una habitación en la planta baja y nos envió al 2º piso, por poco que pueda no volveré nunca más.

L’accueil, le cadre: un superbe parc luxuriant au soleil du Vaucluse ... La piscine, superbe, calme, idéalement située. Le calme général du site.

Chambre trop petite, salle de bain mal équipée: baignoire sans pare- douche ni possibilité d'accrocher la pomme de douche ... Obligés de se doucher accroupis dans une baignoire trop étroite pour ne pas tout inonder! Le lino moche dans la salle de bain. Bref: Il faut pouvoir choisir sa chambre, seul problème, rien ne permet de le faire sur internet! En plus, attention à demander explicitement une chambre avec un grand lit dans les commentaires, si c'est ce que l'on veut ... Sinon, l'appellation 'chambre double' ne le garantit pas ... Qd bien même la photo sur booking montre un grand lit pour la 'chambre double forêt de chênes'! Nous avons donc payé plus cher que prévu! La mention 'gastronomique' pour le menu est excessive: la cuisine est fine, mais pas gastronomique même si le prix, lui, s'en approche. Le petit déjeuner, inclus dans le forfait est décevant: aucun produit 'maison', le pain même pas bon! Et les confitures 'b ... M...' Quel dommage pour une cuisinière pareille!

J'ai apprécié la demeure et l'amabilité de son personnel. La piscine est magnifique et très agréable et la situation est parfaite.

Idéalement situé dans l'arrière pays, proches de petits villages à découvrir.Le calme, la nature, la somptueuse piscine exterieure, un grand parc, et une magnifique batisse. Le personnel à l'écoute.Un bel endroit pour vraiment déconnecter et se reposer. Petite déjeuner copieux, restaurant non testé

Peut etre la télé et la clim manqueront à certaines personnes, mais l'authenticité du site ainsi que la beauté et l'harmonie de l'endroit suffise à mon bonheur personnel.
