Everything about our stay at L"Assiette Champenoise was superb. We were celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary and everything about our stay was fantastic a truly wonderful experience.
Great friendly staff, amazing service and food to die for!!
Everything, the hotel is magnific.
The Wi-Fi signal in the room, perhaps that cause it was in one corner of the building.
Very helpful staff responding quickly to my every single emails before arriving. Totally in love with the room while stepping in. When I was still exploring the signed welcoming card and dessert on the coffee table. The staff helped with our luggage asked if we smell something weird. We agreed but it was a small problem and we didn't mind. He insisted to upgrade us to a bigger room. I also love how they provide separated male and female toiletries. Of course dinner was excellent! Breakfast was very delightful too!
The spacious room and the excellent chief and excellent Services.
Four of us spent the evening in the bar and ordered various drinks and a few snacks. All went well until the last drinks of the night when two of us decided to have a single malt whiskey before retiring for the evening. We asked for a list of single malt whiskey and the barman instead asked us to come to the bar to choose from the bottles on display. We selected a Balvenie Double Wood and ordered a glass each as I often buy this brand and find it good value for money. A bottle normally retails for around 45 Euro and good bars generally charge at the most 10 Euro per glass. The barman did not advise us of the price and we trusted him (and the hotel) to be fair in the pricing. When we checked out we discovered we had been charged 33 Euro for each of the two glasses. Quite a rip off and when queried about this the hotel did not reply.
Wifi quality, no signal in some areas of the lobby
A regal beau arts chateau on the edge of Reims that has been expanded into a luxury hotel. Fabulous, large, well appointed room. Huge modern bath. Private parking. Excellent breakfast buffet. Cuisine and service in the restaurant is truly worthy of three Michelin stars.
It's a bit of a walk into the center of Reims passing through a somewhat unsafe looking neighborhood.
The room was excellent we had a suite with a terrace,it was a nice size with a bath and walkin shower very comfortable room
Separate toilet room was a plus but there was no hand basin to wash your hands so had to walk to the other end of the suite to wash your hands. Having stayed and dined at this hotel twice before we were really looking forward to the the new 3 Michelin stared menu, but we were somewhat disappointed both with the food and the cost, there are lots of michelin starred restaurants in the area that don't cost €245 per person without drinks
The rooms, the food, the wine
Parking was in the open - and the conkers were falling!
Lovely large and comfortable room. We had the room service menu on the terrace as the main restaurant was closed. This was excellent. Also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.
The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't to our standard. About 1.5 miles from the town centre.
Our Superior Suite was exactly the same as our friends Superior Double, but cost a lot more. The Restaurant prices are outragious
There were no tea making facilities in the room and when we ordered some water and milk to make a cup of tea they failed to bring a cup and so by the time they came back with a cup the water was cold. The shower was Luke warm, it was impossible to get any real hot water. They also left the bath mat in the shower and when we came to use it it was soaking wet!! The bath robes supplied had broken belt loops. We did point out the problems and were given a tiny bottle of water as we left the hotel. I felt they should have reduced the cost due to the poor facilities we experienced. We also asked the staff to book a taxi to take us to GH Mumm and then back. When we finished our tour no taxi arrived and we had to phone for one ourselves. It is safe to say We will not be returning to this hotel which was overpriced and provided poor service.
The restaurant is one of the best three stars michelin that I know. The hotel and its servicw are excelent too.
room gardens staff
couldn't get booked in to the restaurant not much within walking distance
The garden and grounds were lovely. Our bathtub was huge, and attached to the bedroom. Then we had to walk across the entire suite to get to the bathroom.
The lights were controlled by a touch screen device which often did not work! The food was mediocre, and very expensive. Drinks were even more overpriced. There was not enough staff. Reception seemed to always have a line. Room service took about a half hour. The King Bed was two doubles put together. All the in room seating was very low to the ground, as though it was designed for children.
Rooms are lovely.
I had a bit of a shock at the price of dinner as i han't realised that it was a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Very nice although on a hot day it was just too hot. The reception staff aren't that good.
Perfect destination or stop over
We enjoyed the dining but felt that it was very expensive for what you received
The room, hated the toilet that was far too small, also on our second day we didn't have bath salts & tissues at 265.00 a room it was not great room service
The hotel is lovely but you can't get dinner in the restaurant , as fully booked Room service menu has 5 items on it in the end I had 2 pizzas ordered to be delivered in bit of a joke really for. A 3 Michelin starred restaurant
Need to concentrate a bit more on the guests in the hotel not just about restaurant
We were given a free upgrade from a basic room to a luxurious suite. As good a dinner as I have ever eaten.
The suite was an amazing large space - very welcome after a series of smaller hotel rooms. This is basically a highly renowned and expensive restaurant with expensive rooms.
Very expensive. We wanted a drink in the bar - we were not allowed to sit where we liked and then were served two very weak gin and tonics and 4 tiny some amuse bouches for 42 euros. Awoke in the morning to building work going on. The lighting system took some time to turn all the lights off from the remote control next to the bed and the only loo had a sliding door that did not quite close yet opened out on to the main room so offered no privacy. The balcony looked out over a neighbouring house that was about 10 metres away. I wouldn't usually be so critical, but we paid £450 for one night's stay and it's not that good.
A beautiful and modern 5 star hotel with helpful friendly staff who try very hard to accomodate your wishes. The hotel is complimented with an excellent restaurant which is both 3 star Mitchelin and silver service. It was a fabulous and luxurious way to end our tour of Europe. A big thankyou to all the staff and chefs in the restaurant for making the experience memorable.
The wifi was a bit ropey and the background music in the bar and restaurant was a bit odd for the type of establishment.
Exceptional food. One of the best in France
The room was very large and comfortable. Having the beautiful garden to recover in after a day of touring was lovely. The staff were very helpful when we had a problem with our lights but not particularly warm or friendly. The restaurant was ok but not as good as most other three star michelins that I have eaten at, service was very good especially the wine waiter
The location, it is outside the city by about two kilometres which wouldn't have been a problem for us as we like walking but the area that you walked through was awful and didn't feel particularly safe at night. Getting taxis was difficult in Reims.
