Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and charming country inn.

this was an excellent logis with very friendy and helpfull staff. The food was very good in the restuarant and at breakfast and we received a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was very pleasant

Staff was friendly and helpful and, very important for our two children aged 4 and 6, very child friendly. The hotel grounds are picturesque, quite in keeping with the small village of Tavers where it is located. Very good buffet breakfast.

Nothing to not like.

1- very uncomfortable in term of noise (you can count any guests using the stairs and any door that closes) 2- pictures in the web site are old and overselling the place. The current status of the structure is much less appealing (pool, garden, interiors, quality anc choices for breakfast) 3- they refused to book a table at the restaurant, even if there were few people there

It was on good taste, with old fashioned furniture, a family business,. Nice people, feeling like home, ofering intimacy. I twasn't a big buiding, houses with one floor aroung a beautiful garden with a pool in it.

A excellent hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, dinner was excellent with local produce on offer and a very personable host which made the experience even more special, my partner and I will definitely be returing to La Tonnellerie in the near future.

The hospitality and grounds were fantastic. The restaurant was good and the continental breakfast was well organized. The kids had a great time in the pool and we relaxed beneath the noble chestnut trees in the yard. Very nice locale an close to all of the major castle sites in the Loire valley.

Friendly staff - nothing too much trouble, great room (we were upgraded to a suite) , we liked the old fashioned charm, beautifully furnished lounge and lovely garden. Very good breakfast and off road parking.

Tavers is a v.small village so unless you drive in to Beaugency you have to dine at the hotel which is not cheap. Food was good but there was a long delay between the starter and the main course which was explained by the chef being "very busy" - there were about 20 people dining altogether!

Nice rooms and setting

Limited capacity meant no evening meal so book before you travel if ypu want to eat

The real surprise for us was the heated pool and the internal yard was indeed nice to rest. Many flowers. The cuisine was tasty. Our small daughter loved extremelly the room on the ground floor with a french window and 2 bedrooms

Charming hotel, with "old-world features" and lovely decor. It was very quite the night we stayed there the hotel staff were very attentive. There is nothing in the town apart from the hotel, other than a small tabac/bar across the road, hence dining options are very limited. The prices seem very steep for meals and breakfast, however the service and range is excellent. Beautiful courtyard garden setting - pity the French May weather didn't allow us to enjoy the garden more

Room number 23. Friendly staff, nice view on garden and inner court. In summer the outdoor terrace is probably a nice area to have breakfast or a drink, but now it was too cold.Comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom. Average breakfast.

Non smoking policy not clearly indicated, so our first room was used by smokers. The receptionist apologized and offered us immediately a new room. Very poor sound isolation between the rooms, noisy hotel in very, very quiet and peaceful environment. But not a 4 star hotel, I think 3 would be more appropriate.

Chambre spacieuse au grand calme. Personnel souriant et sympathique. Lieu magnifique et plein de charme. Idéal pour un séjour en famille. En terme de situation géographique cet hôtel est parfait pour aller visiter les différents châteaux de la Loire : Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, Sully... ainsi qu'Orléans et sa cathédrale... Autoroute et Nationale à toute proximité. On recommande !

Dommage qu'il n'ait pas fait plus chaud pour profiter des extérieurs...

Rien, excepté le mauvais temps ce jour là ...!!!

Le côté "maison de famille" avec un beau salon à l'ancienne et le jardin clos au milieu avec piscine. Chambres spacieuses et confortables.

Salle de bain spacieuse mais vieillotte et mal éclairée, pas de mitigeur dans la baignoire et armoire de toilette hors d'âge. La chambre mériterait un éclairage mieux pensé (difficile de lire). Parking difficile et réduit à l'intérieur et stationnement difficile à l'extérieur.

Wij moesten noodgedwongen 2 dagen eerder terug naar Nederland ivm opname van schoonmoeder (87 jaar) in ziekenhuis. Het hotel was zo attent om slechts twee van de vier nachten in rekening te brengen. Klasse !!!
