Excellent location, just a short walk from the centre and all amenities. Lovely room overlooking the stables - which afforded plenty of free entertainment! Also, the buffet breakfast was well up to the mark. All told, a smashing hotel for that short break.
The weather wasn't brilliant - but the hotel couldn't help that!!
Gives you a good feel of the charm of deauville excellent atmosphere charming people warm and inviting very comfortable spa was lovely great break fast excellent value for money great restaurants 15 mint walk ! Will love to return back
Towels could have been softer and bigger
Very good breakfast Room with balcony Service Kindness Silence
We had a ground floor room with disabled access. The family room had a door across so that the children could go to bed early, but technically in the same room. Good breakfast and friendly helpful staff,.
Ambiance, breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere.
Unusually long list of guest regulations were a little off-putting. Lack of upright shower.
Lies quiet but walking distance to town centre. Been no of times.
But upgrade those awful foam pillows, pl
Room, swimming pool cleanliness
This is not a hotel it is bed and breakfast ...games room was damp with broken darts and poor pool table, they is no restaurant..!!!!!!!!! And the bar is 2 ft long!!!! All of the things there say are in the hotel are not they are down the road!!!!
Our room 310, had a balcony, it was great to sit out early evening with a glass of wine!!
Great location, English speaking staff and spa bath in the room.
The room was very dark on arrival and not very appealing, however it was better with all the lights on -even if one of the bedside lights was hanging off the wall! There was no air conditioning and it was very warm at night so the patio had to be left open, leaving us feel a little vulnerable. Deauville is a fantastic and high class resort so hotels are expensive so too are the drinks €9 for a Jack Daniels !!!
The hotel is a beautiful house in a good walking distance to the beach and the center and has a pleasant outdoor swimming pool. The room was quiet with a little balcony and view to horse stalls. If you like horses you will enjoy the morning rituals especially before a horse race as well as a light horse smell. Breakfast was ok, fruits not from the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good restaurants recommendation.
Our room had no air conditioning which you would expect for the price of the room and quite hot in July. Children jumping in the pool and making swimming almost impossible. Would expect the direction to give clear directives to parents.
They are quite the nastyest hotel they took an up front payment and even though I sent them a doctors certificate to say I had had a burst appendix! They refused to give me back my money, Which I consider quite appaling they suggested I came another time I was Travelling with an old American friend of 85 who is unlikely to make it back to Europe another year, and I was in no fit state to travel to France till after she had returned to America. I asked my French living Niece to ring and explain and they were just rude to her!
Nothing, as I was unable to go as I was ill and they refused to return the money from my credit card which was for 3 nights and two bedrooms!! even with a Doctors certificate I Will certainly never recommend to my many racing friends to stay there for Deauville. Lady Agnew-Somerville
The location was good and the accommodation good.
The bathroom had a distinctly damp smell.
staff, pool public areas, bed bathroom
no fixture for holding shower therefore could not be used as a standup shower air con?
Most staff friendly and helpfull.
We stayed one night and had whirlpool bath. If we'd been there longer, a shower would have been preferable.
Staff was friendly, helpful, welcoming.
room was a little small
Staff exceptionally helpful, much appreciated.
The hotel was excellent, I can't fault it. The staff were efficient, quiet and charming.
I was sorry the hotel wasn't closer into town - my fault, I hadn't noticed that when I booked it.
Staff were excellent, checked-in a night early without issue and provided everything I needed. The view of stables from balcony in morning was also beautiful to wake up to.
Hotel was extremely quite for us as young couple but definitely suited to a relaxing break.
Fantastic hotel. We stayed for 4 nights as we were exhibiting at the World Perfumery Congress at the CID. The hotel was excellently located - on a quiet street, but only 10 minutes walk from the CID, beach and shops. Some great restaurants nearby as well. The rooms were large and comfortable and the small, beautifully heated pool was the absolute jewel in the crown - in just the right spot to enjoy the early evening sun and a drink from the aperitif trolley. Overall, a lovely friendly hotel which exceeded all expectations. Bravo!
I would have liked breakfast to have been included, considering the price!
Rather expensive Breakfast buffet could be more extended
Bit of refreshment for the bathroom is due.
I liked the location of the hotel and the staff were very helpful.
The room was comfortable but would have been nice to have a shower in the room.
Very helpful staff, lovely terrasse to relax and have a drink and lovely restaurant on the corner of the street. Easy parking !
the room was a bit small and the decoration not very new but this did not matter to us
I am a regular to Deauville. Its a small town and everything is walkable. This hotel is well positioned for both the racecourse and the centre of town. Furthermore, its the best hotel in this price range in terms of facilities, size of room and general decor.
