From the friendly welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms, the refrigerator in the reception with everything from water to champagne for night time drinks. Hard to fault, would recommend and stay again if I'm back in the area.

    Very limited car parking

Good location five minutes from the cathedral, very helpful front desk staff.

Constant noise from guests and staff stamping past. I got very little sleep all week. Facilities were also very basic. This is a one, not three star hotel.

Location was good. Easy walking to all shopping, sites, restaurants in Bayeux. Parking was easy and free on the street.

Very basic, small triple room - price is high due to demand in the area, but it is nothing special.

The staff was so friendly and welcomed us immediately upon arrival. The family room was perfect for our family of five. Everything is walkable in Bayeux from the hotel. The breakfast was very good with a great e had been in Paris for 5 days prior to Normandy, this hotel and town was a nice break. Better croissants than we had in Paris!

    Leaving.

As a documentary film crew traveling with a 92-year-old WWII Veteran and his family were loved our experience at Hôtel Le Bayeux. One floor made this great for our veteran to access his bedroom. Breakfast is upstairs, but family or staff and easily bring it to someone who can't move easily. Thankfully, our veteran walks around just fine. The beds were extremely comfortable. The host brought us to her home so she could speak with our veteran and thank him for his service. The town of Bayeux is breathtaking and we wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was fantastic.

    Location Location Location :)))

If I really have to say something, I would suggest to plan to refurnish the bedrooms, they're a bit old-looking.

A very simple, welcoming hotel. Reception staff are very helpful and speak good English. Well located; the tapestry museum is 5 minutes away. Parking at the hotel limited but there is plenty of off street parking near by

The rooms are quite basic and not cheap. Comfortable chairs and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms would be welcome.

The hotel was small and intimate. The staff were very helpful, booking a tour at the Memorial Museum and calling a taxi to get us there.

The room was small in US standards but it was fine. Since it was cool (and I believe there are not too many hot days) the room was ok with draft coming in from the window. If it were a hot day, It could get rather stuffy.

The staff at Hotel Bayeux couldn't do enough for us even after we had checked out. We didn't have breakfast as we left early so can't comment on that. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and even had a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. They didn't mind looking after our bags for us and offered there restroom to us when we picked the bags up and offered to call a taxi for us. Lovely people. The hotel is walkable from the train station and nice and quiet in a very crowded town.

Location is unbeatable, right around the corner of the cathedral, walking distance to the Tapestry and less than 15 minutes away from most historic locations including Omaha Beach and Sainte Mere Eglise. Bayeux is a great location for those history lovers specially WWII and D-Day followers. Breakfast was ver good. Staff was very helpful and almost everybody spoke English very well. Hotel and town's ambiance was totally dedicated to honoring and thanking D-Day veterans.

The garden is very beautiful, breakfast was very good, decor of the "main house" is very nice.

We were in the upper level of the "carriage house" which was not yet fully renovated, so it still smelt of fresh paint and door locks didn't work.
