Skylight window gave us good light and ventilation but could not see anything but the sky.
10€ per day parking is quite expensive
The staff are very friendly and the hotel has a great location. If you arrange for parking onsite you can walk everywhere in Bayeux and there's no need to drive at night.
No sound isolation, we heard the neighbors having sex all night. We could even hear their knee caps pop… I do not recommend this hotel if you wish to sleep.
Close to the city center, easy to find and welcoming staff
The hotrel is within walking distance to the city, and good restaurants in the surroundings.
The staff went above and beyond what was required. I am a concierge back in Australia and the staff were both extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The two ladies both did an amazing job organising our tours and ensuring that we were happy and comfortable with our stay. Thank you for everything. Definitely will be recommending the hotel to anyone considering visiting such a beautiful little town.
That we only got to stay here for one night.
The staff was friendly (even staying long past reception hours to let us in when our train was an hour late), and the room was cozy and comfy (and modern and contained everything we needed). I'm surprised it only has 8.4 stars (at time of writing) as it was the nicest place we stayed this trip.
nothing to dislike. everything was great.
No tea making facilities in the room, there is a tea / coffee table next to reception. Parking is on a long driveway, so we had to leave keys with reception incase they needed to move the car to let someone else out.
Set on a quiet street, the Hotel is central and very comfortable. We took a double with a single bed, as that was the same price as a double and gave us more room. Tv, large shower, seperate toilet, light and airy, clean room. We only stopped one night, but found the hotel easily, and the staff are polite and helpful. Car parking was 10 euro a day, and next to the hotel on a private driveway which was secure.
coffee is not complimentary, but there is a machine available in the lobby.
The location was excellent; short walk to restaurants, shops, park, and the beautiful cathedral. The onsite parking was very convenient for us. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English.
Great breakfast Great location friendliness of staff.
Friendly staff very good value for money location
Location Informative & friendly staff/owner Very good value Excellent breakfast
The heater was in the wrong position so it didn't heat the room up very well, only the entrance by the door. The bed was warm though so sleeping was fine. I paid a very low price that I am very happy about (I traveled Europe in miserable winter) but I've seen that the rooms can be up to 250euros, which is way too expensive. However, I think that is just during June for last minute bookings when the entire city is overflowing with tourists and military for the memorial.
The atmosphere was very cosy and the staff treated me like I was family. They were very helpful in planning out my trip to Gold and Omaha beaches and arranged transport for me. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is very close to restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic. I paid a very low price for the quality.
We do not speak french, so having Patricia greet us and be so helpful and friendly was fantastic!
Good breakfast , great location, reliable wifi
Very good breakfast friendly staff
Very charming, funny and helpful staff. Super location in this lovely little town. Clean, modern and great wifi. Perfect night's stay for my bike tour. Great value for money.
The curtains on our street-level window were sheer. Yikes! No shades or blinds, either.
The best thing about this little French hotel was Vito, the concierge. Incredibly helpful--recommending restaurants, booking tours of the Normandy beaches, helping us navigate the town. And the breakfast was phenomenal. Never eating an American croissant again. Ever.
Loved the location, easy walking distances to everything. Staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for us.
Staff went above and beyond to help us organise a d day tour. room was clean and spacious. Close to town and train station.
the location was only about a 10 minute walk to the very impressive cathedral and the old town and shopping area. The breakfast was so good and staff very helpful.Definately a hotel to recommend
The rooms were a bit small but worth every penny.
Great customer service. The hotel was clean and so were our rooms. The staff have us a great recommendation on restaurants.
