Its location, next to the d'Orsay and close to St. Germain de Près. The free wifi is good, too, but for the price of the hotel night, it shouldn't be any different... The cost of the breakfast is ridiculously expensive.

The excellent location made exploring quintessential Paris very walkable and fun; the fabulous, over-the-top design sensibility was fun; the room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The cramped room was fine for a solo traveler for a couple of days -- and fun -- but the charm might have worn off had I been traveling with a partner or for more than a few days.

Excellent location. You are basically 20 walking steps from the Musee D'Orsay. The shower is horrible for travellers used to "Western showers". There were two bathrooms in the room: one with only a toliet and the other bathroom where there was the shower and the sink. The bathroom with the shower and the sink had no door whatsoever, and more incredible the shower had a glass door, but it only covered about one third of the shower! The rest was two/thirds wide open!!! So believe me, it got cold when taking a shower....Another thing is that the head of the shower was the "European type", where you had to hold the hose with the shoer all the time, which made it difficult to shower and not to get the whole bathroom wet! (Because, remember two thirds of the shower has no door!)

During my 2nd stay at this hotel I was expecting as good experience as previously this was not the case for my great dissapointment. Once I returned from dinner the heating in my room was not working I called the front desk and eventually they admitted that the heating would not go beyond 19c , considering it was nearly -1 outside it was freezing. This is now 1am and the best they could do was to say you want to go 4th floor and change room? Not really I need to get up early I would prefer some other compensation the answear was ok no problem I will make note for the manager in duty in the morning. The compensation was: sorry can give you discount for the room, do you want to have breakfast or we can pay if you used room service...all this after they had ordered me a taxi! Design hotel yes, incompetent service yes, great location yes, no 4* service to been seen. Will not stay again

The location was great, close to amazing landmarks and very close to the metro. There were also charming shops and restaurants in the area. The room was clean and the design was interesting. The room was definitely was very small, which was manageable but the fact that there was not a proper shower was a major downfall.

The location was perfect, the staff incredibly helpful. My room was ready when I arrived for early check-in and the design was gorgeous. There was no full-length mirror in my room.

Having stayed in Paris before at other hotels & apartments, I would return to this Hotel again over any other due to it's excellent location. If anything, the room was small, but hey, every Hotel room in Paris is small to what we are used to

The hotel is very good located, a walking distance from Louvre, Concorde Place and Champs Elisee. Also Notre Dame is close. It has a subway station right next to it so it makes it very easy to get around with the subway as well. Bd St. Germain is 2 blocks away walking distance with cafees (for good breakfast) and shops. The Latin Cartier is also close and can be rached by foot. We had to change rooms. The first one had a wall view - the windows opened into an exterior wall. The second one we asked to have a street view and it did, but the bathroom was in the room. Between the bed and the sink there was a see through mirror wall. The toillet was separeted in a closet.

The design of the small rooms is clever and the position is unbeatable. A. Lovely welcoming feel . There was no overhead shower, only a bath with a handheld shower head. Also, the bed squeaked!

The location is great, half a block from Musée D'Orsay, a short walk to the region of restaurants/bars at St Germain des Près and also within walking distance to many tourist spots in Paris. Location really can't be beaten! Staff is really nice and helpful (expect for a guy who was there durng two nights - 22 and 24 august, a black/short haired, who wanst nice to us), they give you all the information, maps, reserve restaurants, et. And most of them speaks a lot of languages, what is unusual to Paris. The room is not big, however very well decorated and everything is brand new and very well takne care - another thing that is really unusual in Paris. The a/c is absolutely quiet, the bed is good and comfy. The only bad thing is that the room does not have a shower in the wall. They only have a tub and a hand shower, what makes having a shower really difficult. That was not a problem to us, it was summer and we enjoyed taking a bath at the tub, but at the winter, it will probably be more complicated. So, if you go to the hotel, be sure not to pick up the simpler room, pick up the second best and you will have the shower! Only the lack of the head shower. The rest was great and we would go back.
