Very good friendly service. Excellent food served by the chef/patron. We visited during the off season and the chef prepared a 3 course dinner with only one choice of each course, but we were delighted with his choice and the quality of the cooking. He is extremely enthusiastic and is clearly proud of his hotel and loves his job. A very enjoyable stay. |

Although we arrived late, stayed with a small crying baby, left very early in the morning and created nothing but trouble, everyone was sooo friendly and nice! We enjoyed our stay very much, the rooms and beds are perfect, the bathroom could be shown in magazines as best practice. Le Bocage is a small jewel. We would always come back and for sure recommend everyone to go there! |

Beautiful room. Fantastic attention to detail. The service was excellent - very friendly and welcoming owners. The food was really good - the chef came out to ask us what we thought of his latest dish! This was the perfect ending to a great holiday in France! We would definitely stay here again. |

We arrived late at Le Bocage but we were immediately supplied with an excellent 3 course dinner, freshly cooked fro us by the proprietor and beautifully presented. Le Bocage has been very imaginatively decorated and everything seems fresh and clean. Despite oversleeping, we were also provided with and excellent breakfast. We were impressed by the excellent attention to detail, the beautiful decor and the hospitality of our hosts. It was all lovely - the only problem we had was that we managed to flood the wet room. |

A restaurant hotel with a high standard of decoration, and a very recently completed feel. Comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. A good standard of food in the restaurant, although with limited choice at dinner. A slightly deserted feel to the place on my mid-week stay. |

Exceptional service. Made it easy to stay with our boisterous 2 year old. Attractive, spacious room (Called Marine). Superb walk-in shower. Very comfortable bed. Relaxing walled garden. Excellent dinner. Some traffic noise. Breakfast good (fresh juice) but not quite up to standard of dinner. |

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable yet rather short stay at Le Bocage. A lovely restored farmhouse building retaining many original French features whilst offering alternative themed rooms and delicious cuisine. Highly recommended. |

The people are very friendly and the quality of our stay was very high. Tip when going there: It's on the main road from Valognes to Bricquebec, travelling from Valognes on your right after about 5 minutes. The parking lot is right next to the road and there's a sign attached. We were only there on our way somewhere else and didn't really need a bar or anything similar. For that you do need to get into Valognes (probably) by car. |

The decor was astounding! Our room was at the top of the hotel. It had been decorated in the style of a Moroccan bedroom - dark red walls and purple soft furnishings - all very stylish and well done. This was the first time we had stayed in a room with its own hubble-bubble pipe (for ornament only we think!) Only a flimsy curtain between the bedroom and shower room / loo. The doorway was in the shape of a Moroccan arch with a corner at just the right height to hit your head. |

L'accoglienza delle ampie stanze e delle toilette (inusuali per gli standard francesi) unita ad un design piacevolmente sorprendente; la gentilezza del personale e la cura delle preparazioni gastronomiche il tutto rapportato ad un prezzo (scelta di mezza pensione) che si potrebbe definire più che favorevole. A voler cercare il pelo nell'uovo, l'unica cosa che mancava, come nella maggior parte degi alberghi francesi, era il bidet nelle toilettes; scelta strana visto la generosa dimensione dei locali. |

Environnement très calme en pleine nature, mais à proximité de Valogne (4 km). Décoration et équipements hôtelier de bon goût. Accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Simple suggestion : un soir, rentrant de chez des amis vers minuit, nous avons eu quelques difficultés pour repérer l'hôtel sur la route peu éclairée. Ne pas oublier de laisser la borne éclairée près du portail. La veille nous n'avions pas eu ce (petit) problème. Merci |
